This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 11th day of April, 1934, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [264], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body; this we have had before, [264]. There are some improvements since last we had same. As we find, the better conditions would be for those properties that have been outlined. While the liver extract increases the blood count, the assimilations as produced - or the effect with the heart stimulation is not as well from this as from the enzymes that have been suggested.

2. Those that are the combination of the swine and of the kine are the better. In the other additions, to be sure, the iron would be the preferable - but take somewhat smaller quantities for this body in the beginning than indicated, or even than the physician would give (for we have said it should be done under the physician’s charge or care). And, as we find, these will build the body and those resistances in same.

3. Do not overtax the body until the strength and the vitality has at least been somewhat restored, see?

4. (Q) If the enzyme should still be taken - (A) (Interrupting) We have given that it should be used; these combinations with the iron.

5. (Q) The Ventriculum Ventriculin] is the kind to be used? (A) The one with the iron! We didn’t say anything about Ventriculum! Ventriculin] It’s one of those with the iron! It’s different!

6. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Do those things as we have outlined, for these are the better.

R1. 4/13/34 EC’s letter: “I hope the information has assisted you in being able to get just what is needed for your better health at this time. It was quite a problem for us to even get any information while I was in the West, and you received in the wire practically everything that was given in the reading. The young man with me had not conducted more than one reading until then. He is not able to write down in longhand or shorthand a great deal that is given, or can be given, and I suppose we would have to say the reading took all these things into consideration. I’m trusting, however, that you have gotten the necessary ingredients for the building up of your system just at this time.”

R2. 4/20/34 She wrote: “Parke, Davis and Burrow-Martin Drug Co. both say the product is called VENTRICULIN - and it is the only enzyme they have with iron in it. My rdg. said ‘We didn’t say anything about VENTRICULUM! It’s the one with the iron. It’s different!’

“So you see I don’t want to get Ventriculin. I know they have another enzyme with iron in it, or the rdg. would not have said it…

“Am stronger than I was, and feel better in every way. My feet and legs swell so badly, and they are so very uncomfortable. I believe that condition will clear up as soon as I take the enzymes, as the rdg. did not give any tr. for them, and they were swollen at that time.”

R3. 4/27/34 She wrote to GD: “You see, the druggists here told me it was VENTRICULUM, and Parke, Davis and Burrow Martin Drug Co. said it was VENTRICULIN, and when the rdg. said it was not VENTRICULUM, it was different, it is possible that the spelling of it was the cause for that answer.”
