1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - ” - ‘43 - hopes - despair - ‘42 - anxieties - ‘40 - disturbance, anxiety - irrational - ‘38 - ‘37 - expectancies - ‘25 - ‘18 - artist - ” etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2777].

4. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them here, - in the interpreting of same much might appear at first to be quite at variance to the present environs and the present anxieties, the present physical and material attitudes of the entity.

5. Thus, as we find, in interpreting same, - we would give that as may be helpful, if the entity will but apply the principles that underlie same. These are not theories, - they are laws; spiritual and mental, and applied in the material life of the entity may bring that awakening of the abilities and possibilities within the grasp of the entity.

6. To be sure, of self little may be accomplished. Yet the desire, the activity, the hope that must be created within self. For as it has been given, it is not who shall descend from heaven or come from other lands to tell thee, or to warn thee; for Lo it is within thine own mind, body and soul. And that ye seek to accomplish may be accomplished, if ye are willing to submit to that awakening of the power and the might of the spirit of truth that is within thine own consciousness.

7. There is daily set before thee good and evil, life and death. Choose thou. Depart not from this.

8. Take His word, the Holy Bible; it is man’s attempt - through the direction of the spirit of truth, of universal consciousness - to indicate man’s relationship to that Creative Force, God, and God’s approach to man’s consciousness of his relationship to God.

9. Thus, take these portions particularly, - not that there is one portion greater than the other, but these are the conclusions of the lawgiver, - as indicated in the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy, as indicated in the King James’ version (as called). These are the conclusions of the matter with that individual entity, Moses, after a hundred and twenty years of seeking his relationships to God. Then take the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John; here we find the conclusions of Him who is the way, the truth, the light. In Him ye may find thyself, thy abilities; that are the gifts of the Creative Force - and His mindfulness of thee, of His promises to thee, and how He may sustain thee day by day, never leaving thee alone.

10. From the sojourns of the entity through the material plane there are latent and manifested urges that are a part of thy whole experience, but these are thyself. And while ye may not meet the problems that arise from these alone, with those promises of Him who is life, who is hope, who is the bread of life, who is the water of life, ye may find thy activities in keeping with that which brings peace, harmony and hope.

11. Ye have abilities in art, literature, song, music. These ye have used, and also abused. Do not consider these as thine ONLY outlets, nor thine only means of attaining or gaining that as ye would have in the material experience. But rather be ye guided by that intuitive force that is thine experience.

12. And daily surround thyself with that consciousness of the promises He has made, as recorded in the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John, as being thy very own; and the way will open for thee.

13. For, thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. Treat it as such.

14. He has promised to meet thee in that temple. Then as ye meditate, as ye pray - as ye are moved to give expression of that consciousness which arises from same - let thy hand find that to do which is in keeping with that direction ye will be given from day to day.

15. In thy talents, - do not overlook thy abilities as a means of giving to others counsel, direction; but let it be ONLY that which is in keeping with HIS directions, as are indicated and pointed out to thee in that which begins, “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” It is thy Father, His Father; thy God, His God, who raised Him up; that ye - through thy OWN consciousness - might have an advocate with the Father.

16. Thus ye may know Him as ye meditate upon Him.

17. As to urges arising from sojourns in the cosmic or in the spheres of activity other than the material earth, we find Venus both as benevolent and as a stumbling-stone. For, thy intenseness in the activities becomes at times such as to cause undue alarm, as well as undue physical anxieties.

18. Thy abilities as the artist, - as indicated in Mercury, Venus and Jupiter, - should enable thee in thy abilities as a teacher, as an instructor in music, to give others that opening that is necessary for their awakening. Especially may ye do this as a teacher of music. Do not call it hard, or say how may ye begin, but determine in self what ye would do with thy abilities. And ye will find the way, the manner, will open to thee.

19. As ye seek, learn to know those who are grouped in the study and preparation for stage, screen, radio; as may be directed by those seeking in same. And these will bring thee into contact with those who will give thee consideration, from every angle of thy abilities - IF ye keep the faith and thy walking with those directions given thee in the interpreting of the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John, in thy life and in thy relations to thy fellow man.

20. As to the material sojourns, - these should mean little to thee, yet these have been that which troubles thee in the present.

21. Then study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed; rightly dividing the words of truth. And don’t condemn self, don’t condemn others. He did not; ye have no right to do otherwise than to love those even that despitefully use you.

22. But trust in Him, and the way will open; and MORE may be given thee as ye apply thyself in earnest, in truth, in love, in the light of that meditation.

24. (Q) Can you give me the name and address of an outstanding melody writer who will work with me? (A) As indicated, seek rather to associate self with groups, and ye will find these will bring about those associations and connections.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-

My reading has arrived - trust you haven’t had the trouble of copying this.

Thank you for same. It is quite disappointing as not helping in the immediate cross-road. For a year I’ve tried to be associated with groups, as suggested, and failed.

Did you ask the question, second one, regarding publisher? It is not given on report. I wanted name of publisher to take present material - as well as melody-writer. My heart aches that no help forthcoming here as I counted everything on this.

No expression of former life activities which might help me with revealing of latent abilities. I wish this too. As to music teacher - I can’t play note on piano - or carry a tune vocally. To teach it - when years required to learn - and at present not able to see tomorrow’s bread - seems to impractical.

I agree on seeking help from on High which report contains most expressions of. My Christian stand made my husband desert me while a bride of six months - simply couldn’t embrace JEHOVAH WITNESS fanaticism - and how he left me in a day - and never done a thing to assist - in face never seen me since 1932. I’ve had to learn to rely on the Word - but there is something needed materially right now - and direction and help. I’m so fighting off the desire to end my life. I thought you might have had in reading and hesitate to send. Week by week I expect the desire to overcome me entirely; as no place to turn. Well, I don’t mean to complain about reading - it was what came but doesn’t help for today’s problem in any new way than the old effort to throw all upon Him for guidance; and I’ve done this in so far as possible. Of course knowing I can always do better.

I did so hope a publisher might be stated. A writer…some latent ability I could realize something on at once possibly

• former earth existence; and this not even touched as always I understand.

Probably they saw nothing but blackness ahead.

Not a day for a year but I’ve sought to be associated with groups and meet people - but it has been closed doors always. In N.Y. it is who one knows even to get started and I know no one.

I still think your work is wonderful and am glad so many thousands have found a new help from it. Not for me right now I see - only of course glad to be reminded of Love from on High.

I’ll keep in touch with you and send on money whenever I can get work - oh, if only it could have assisted in this problem of work and vitality to meet it!

Dear Mrs. [2777]

Have yours of the 16th - PLEASE study over your reading again carefully, think you will find much there you can use if you will. Yes seeking help from on High is wonderful - provided we do not tell God just how we wish Him to do things for us, adherence to HIS cause may bring us many turmoils, yet, in HIM alone is there PEACE and that each of us wish more than any thing else. All your questions were asked - all are answered do you look for them. For 1st seek God and HIS righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. No, I am not preaching, not at all - merely telling you the law - the Divine-Law. And we may not get away from it.

Do keep the individuals suggested - in earnest in prayer you will find help.

Let me know what you wish about the appliance - if you care for neither, can’t use them, return to me, will gladly refund what you paid.

R3. 3/15/43 [2777]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce:

I do so appreciate your helpfulness and last letter. Yes, I, too, hope that Madam Daykarhanova might possibly suggest an introduction or two - and that is why I chose going to her rather than Mrs. Chandler - but she did not approach this - and I couldn’t ask if it didn’t come about naturally.

The hypnotist who worked so faithfully and hard - hour on end to get me under hypnosis once again, finally had to give up - so you know the state of mind that persists. I can’t believe so much could happen to a person as I’ve experienced - whole nature changed from sunshine to gloom almost.

I mailed the appliance yesterday - very carefully had it wrapped and insured - so if it doesn’t come please let me know - or if anything the matter with it - as insured. I so appreciate your kindness here. Where this didn’t touch my difficulties - sleep or relaxation - possibly what was suggested in the trance may be of some physical assistance and the thing to use - just a little help would mean so much.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-

Thank you for your letter and offer. Yes, I should be happy to know of a hypnotist such as you suggest. Nard King has worked and worked - hour at a time - very conscientious effort - but to no avail. If it is Dr. Garrett you have in mind - I also was with him - exceedingly kind and encouraging

• but without avail.

As to trying the other appliance, I should be happy to, for I’m fast cracking now, but please wait until I send for it as all is so uncertain as to address and all.

Did you see the New York Times Book Review of your THERE IS A RIVER - week ago Sunday - very good, but could have been better I think.

R5. 3/30/43 [2777]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce,-

You are so very kind in trying to help me, and I do appreciate it, very much.

I wish I might see this Dr. Kahn [Kuhn?] - at your meetings I made inquiry and was told he was excellent but party didn’t know where he was - however, I made several calls from phone book as many Kahn’s listed - and nothing developed except one party who thought he was in the service now. I made effort to find out where he was - but so far no good.

I’m sure that someone can put me to sleep as easy subject before this unfortunate experience - oh this depression - this fight against the overpowering desire to take my life

• frustration it is all right.

As to Dr. in Ohio - I’d like to write to him as possibly we might do something about music even by correspondence - I’ve had one song published already - professional copies out now but until the ban lifts that Petrillo has on recordings not a cent will come in from it. It will lift someday however, I’m sure, for this is democracy we live in and one man can’t do this forever.

I feel it is very kind of you to send on the other appliance. I will be most happy to use that - it was specifically suggested, as you know, and if anything will raise this 60 blood pressure I’ll send up a flag - the diagnosis you gave last summer was so very accurate [2777-1] - that if this works the same way, it will be marvelous - to get glands working is my problem. Drs. giving me A B and E vitamin - but no response - as assimilation so low probably. If the appliance needs help of someone I can’t use it as alone here. I take it that it doesn’t, however. Thank you so much. But if you can’t use the machine returned I shall not feel right about the exchange. Please set my mind at ease there. R6. 10/31/47 [2777]‘s letter to HLC:

Dear Mr. Cayce:

Mr. Sugrue had quite a lengthy interview with me relative to my work and suggested that I write out a resume for publication in the Bulletin - so that any one interested in engaging my services might do so. I very poorly express my specialized technique, but here is my attempt anyway; and if you wish changes, et cetera, I’ll be glad to cooperate in any way.

I have letters from various clients but enclose latest two from two Boston artists who came to N.Y. to see me and were cured of several things, emotionally and physically. These two letters may be published if you wish, only I think for publication only the initials should be used. However, these chaps are glad to write any one further should they so desire. One was fighting suicide and quitting art school so frustrated and miserable - and now is painting with glad abandon and “atop the world” as he expresses it.

Mine is the sub-conscious approach as your father’s and the results are indeed phenomenal and speedy, as through the creative and/or involuntary system, as needed, that the work is done.

Mr. Sugrue suggested this a few weeks ago - but to write of it rather challenged me; hence the delay.

It think many of those who so ardently embraced your father’s work would be delighted to know of one so working and I can be reached at the above address and telephone number.

Do you have people who go to the center for help?

R7. [2777]‘s report of how she counsels and helps people:

It is most difficult to furnish in resume the theory and achievements of the phenomenal response realized, both creatively and artistically, (as well as physically) by contacting, tapping, as it were, one’s sub-conscious and super-conscious mind. Results must speak for themselves in this closely related, integrated and potent science.

Through my own individually proven and tested approach to these super-normal and largely latent powers, - with modification and expansion of others’ contribution, I am enabled to state that when one embraces the factual presentation of truth that what one hopes to achieve creatively, and physically, can be quickly and permanently realized, there is open sesame to wide vistas. Through the unconscious approach talents and free expressions of one’s aptitudes are far more rapidly and effectively brought into manifestation and established permanently than through years of merely seeking conscious training. The unconscious is the power-station. Not the conscious mind.

This method breaks the fetters of destruction habits and phobias from which individuals suffer. It loosens the tongue of the stammerers. It overcomes shyness and self-consciousness, - that clog in the wheel of social and business activities, - from which in more or less degree the sensitive and artistic natures suffer keenly even though supreme effort is made to disguise this limitation. It develops one’s powers to plan and to execute, giving one social, artistic and intellectual eminence among his fellow-men. It’s possibilities are almost boundless and its influence connected with every successful undertaking of life.

Through this unconscious approach with the client most satisfying relaxed, I have removed insomnia of years’ standing; removed stage fright; established permanent relaxation; and aroused latent creative tendencies in posture, tone, voice and techniques. I have removed headaches caused by tension and emotional disorders.

I have put artists back upon the public platform and to school who had quit due to lack of self-confidence and poise, unequal to meeting previously competition and challenges; one stating his playing thereafter was “liquid fire”; another that his painting is now a splendid and fulfilling experience, embracing challenges as incentives to his goal.

The sensation of terror felt by a speaker or artist at the moment of coming on the stage or platform - a sensation vulgarly known as “stage-fright” - is a very distressing thing. It may completely destroy the executive power of a singer, a lecturer, or a comedian, by making one lose his memory and the voice of the other to fail. There are deplorable consequences which this panic may have on the future of an artist.

The degree of talent has no effect on it. The greatest artists may suffer from it or be incapacitated by it, while quite mediocre ones may perform with perfect assurance. Also, if an artist has to act or sing beside a hesitating fellow-artist, fear will annoy or conquer that one. A calm and self-possessed colleague will, on the contrary, communicate courage. A marvellous remedy for all this lies, however, in unconscious control actively established by a mediator.

But this approach does more than bring help to panic-stricken artists. It can enable all individuals to bring their talents to perfection; or if not particularly gifted, to establish poise and self-confidence in daily life by release of energies through removal of fears, conflicts and irritations.

As one client said to me, a chap on the FRANKLIN in the Radar Div., only two coming out alive, “Whatever you knew I desired you brought into focus and realization. It was very much like rubbing Aladdin’s Lamp!” His was a shock case and after removing the devastating symptoms of shock he realized artistically what he had previously tried to accomplish through arduous conscious effort.

R8. Reports from three people to [2777] describing how her treatments had helped them:

Dear Miss [2777] This is to thank you again for the wonderful treatments that you gave me a short while ago. It is difficult to realize NOW the torments that I went through for a year in art school - building blocks to creative work. There was confusion, organized interference and complete frustration on my part. Material entered my mind but it was impossible to express it. Doubts, fears and artistic inactivity grew and seemed to continually expand and weigh me down. This inactivity was due to unrealized tensions that stopped all work - like the snapping of a lock on a door. I had periods of depressions and I sought escape in activity alien to my art work at school.

Your treatments had immediate effect on me. After the first treatment I left you with new confidence. My posture had improved, it being impossible to stoop over. I learned to relax completely. I lost the tensions that had so tied me up in knots and relaxed. I did not tire as I had before. My energy and desire for improvement and knowledge was endless. I learned how to develop and sustain enthusiasm for my work. I learned how to touch a great store of creative force and bring it out to become a concrete thing. I now have boundless controlled energy and ability. You have eliminated the negative periods that worked such havoc and I am completely positive. I have found a means to control my subconscious mind and the direction of my mental and physical actions rather than wandering about at the whim of my environment.

Ever since I can remember I have been trying to break the habit of biting my finger nails and eating fast. Since the first treatment I have not bitten my finger nails and have eaten slowly with relaxation.

The most important thing to me is that I went into school and painted enthusiastically and positively completely oblivious of the confusion about me. I am confident, positive and enthusiastic to the extent that a friend of mine immediately noticed the difference and wanted to take the treatments which he is now doing.

With your sensitively developed intuitive ability you quickly realized and made me conscious of the fact that my father had been one of the major blocks in my life.

You have taught me things that every successful person must realize and what is not obtainable from reading or realizing. It is necessary to have treatments from a learned gifted person who can contact the subconscious. In this case I am AMAZED at the RAPIDITY with which you obtained results and to it will owe whatever success I am able to attain.

Dear Miss [2777] Below I will tell in two paragraphs how it was before seeing you and how it is now.

1. I was very nervous - I stammered when I spoke to more than a few people, and always before a “superior”. I was negative in my philosophy about life. It produced a frustration. I was bound to the past which I was unhappy about. I could not stand up against competition. I avoided social functions - knowing basically I was inferior, I made up for it by feeling superior - hating, making fun of practically everyone. I loved no one. My feelings of depression were very close together and in these times I could do no work. I hated, pitied and lacerated myself; I often wept. I wanted always to escape from myself.

2. Now it is quite different. My past has cleared. I am free. Positive. I am able to do anything I wish. I have complete confidence. I feel unable to be depressed, to wallow in self-pity. I no longer hate, but have found what joy it is to love. Before I was an atheist; now I believe in a Divine Spirit. Competition now incites me toward my goal. I realize there is room for everyone of us and I am no longer jealous of anyone. I can now understand and love my family. I have destroyed that which was wrong in me and now I am building and I feel capable of building great things…

My painting already has improved. Before I left Boston I had been working a few days on a painting (I told you about it). When I returned to painting class and painted for a day or two I heard several remarks. “Your painting has sure gone through a cleaning” was the one I felt very opportune. And oh! The paintings to follow. I am atop the world. I hope you are in as gay spirits as I am.

Now more stammering. My painting is a splendid experience.

Another letter: “My nerves will never let me forget that it was you who freed me from myself. After I left I went to the Metropolitan and walked amazed thru the galleries. I was like a blind person who had just had his sight restored. I devoured the great painting of Rembrandt, Goyor and Ell Groco seeing them TRULY FOR THE FIRST TIME. They became a part of me and I walked wildly happy with tears of gratitude flowing from my eyes. I hope this doesn’t sound too exaggerated for it is exactly what happened.

This morning I went into school completely relaxed - for how could I be otherwise now. I painted with wild joy and abandon completely immersed in my work, reminding me of last summer when I went swimming in the warm waters of the lake - my whole body supported by the caressing soft water. I hope I don’t sound too enthusiastic but I just flowed out to the other students and was completely happy and genuinely glad to see them. Everything about me is plus signs - positive, positive, positive!”

R9. 11/19/47 HLC’s letter to [2777]:

Dear Miss [2777]

Thank you very much for your letter of October 31st enclosing the statements from the individuals you have helped.

I would like to send two or three individuals to you so they may give me a report on your work. This would be by far the best type of write up we could handle for you in any of our publications.

Enclosed are letters of introduction to two individuals.

R10. 2/8/48 E. L. Brancato’s letter to HLC:

Dear Hugh Lynn:

This is my report on Miss [2777], whom you asked me to see and assess some time ago. My findings are based on meeting her about 3 times and talking to her and observing her; on what she has said and the manner she has displayed; on what Mr. & Mrs. Johnson have reported as to her treatment; on my own experience on one occasion at her hands. I have not checked any of the cases she states she helped or cured; I have not witnessed any of her treatments nor directly observed her methods of treatment. My report is therefore in the nature of a personal evaluation rather than a scientific investigation.

Mr. [Richard P.] Johnson underwent about 8 treatments. He is told to relax physically and mentally and assisted in doing so by conversation. Miss [2777] is very alert to other people; is capable of inspiring confidence and inducing relaxation. She is very vital and energetic, but apparently not at all able to relax herself to any extent. She states that she cannot be hypnotized since it was implanted in her mind that she would not be once when she was hypnotized. When some degree of relaxation has been achieved, she talks and gives positive suggestions, the exact nature of which are dependent on the condition being treated. Johnson reports that his condition of tension appeared to have been alleviated to some extent by her treatment. However, on the whole the treatment in this case appears to have been without material results since Johnson is apparently still under tension and not able to relax easily. The treatment (of unknown duration) is preceded (or was in this case) by conversation and followed by conversation of some duration (in this case).

The night of the first meeting, in the presence of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and others, Mrs. Johnson was feeling ill in the stomach. She vomited at least once and was also given some form of alleviating or sedative liquid, possibly bicarbonate or tea. The second or third time Mrs. Johnson complained of the pain in her stomach was followed the next second by the exclamation that the pain was gone. Mrs. Johnson asked (or told) Miss [2777] if she had done something (although it was not evident in any way Miss [2777] had done anything). The exact sequence of comments is not clear. But it appears that Miss [2777] confirmed that she had done something and Mrs. Johnson stated that she felt a “ball of light” hit her abdomen just before or simultaneous with the disappearance of the pain. It is probable that Miss [2777] sent a healing thought to Mrs. Johnson which helped to effect the relief.

On another occasion I sat on a chair and relaxed physically as completely as I could. Miss [2777] instructed me to close my eyes and concentrate on her voice. She then repeated with variations the theme that the first cigarette that I smoked after I opened my eyes, the first three puffs or so would taste like burning rubber. After a minute to three minutes of this, I was told to open my eyes, and I lit a cigarette. The puffs did definitely taste like burning rubber and the next few cigarettes also had the taste. I had cooperated fully in relaxing and concentrating on her voice and allowing her suggestions to sink in. I do not know whether this was intended to be a rough parallel of the methods she used, when treating her regular patients, though it seems likely that it is. At any rate Mr. and Mrs. Johnson inform me that it is not material that the subject concentrate on her voice and that she does not ask that you do so. I do know that she did ask me to do so.

Miss [2777] claims to have cured a number of cases, which were difficult, where the condition was purely psychological, though producing a physical effect. It is likely that she can help to relieve all those conditions which may be relieved in any way by suggestion. She claims inability to cure actual illnesses produced by foreign agents in the body or to do much with people who have had many shock treatments (due to the destruction of nerve paths). She disclaims using hypnosis although some of the cases she tells about would almost appear to indicate that hypnosis was used. She claims that since her subjects are always conscious during treatment that it is not hypnosis, also not hypnosis since they remember everything that was done during the treatment. When asked whether she has psychic power, she states that she uses everything she has and knows, which include speech, knowledge of how to use suggestibility and concentrated thought. There appears to be no concrete evidence that she possesses any extraordinary degree of psychic power which may effect her subjects without touch and words (she holds the subject’s hand, left hand, while treating). She claims that hypnosis is harmful in that it leaves the subject open to the entry of evil forces and that is why she doesn’t use it.

CONCLUSIONS: 1. Miss [2777] is dominated by a sincere desire to help others and is basically good in her drives and intents.

2. Miss [2777] can help anyone in alleviating or curing conditions which are partly or wholly psychological in origin or nature.

3. The results of her treatment are dependent in large degree on inducing a state of heightened suggestibility in her patients. There is no evidence of extraordinary psychic means being used.

4. Miss [2777] also employs analysis by inducing her patient to talk; this may proceed before, during and after the nominal treatment.

5. Miss [2777]‘s work has value within those limits set by her methods, knowledge, wisdom, personality and character. What those limits are I am not qualified to say.

Therefore I would be facing a wall but for inner recognition that the need and delay is for a large purpose, not now revealed.

Thank you for your letter which I was eagerly anticipating.

It was long ago I had the able readings by your father and while in mind and knowing the truth of what he stated about glands and periods of utter exhaustion therefrom had misplaced the reading but found it today after your kind invitation to discuss it with you. However, I think there were two and have only one - dated July 3, 1942. This cannot be one you refer to, as no scripture citations in that. I recall the other having reference to Biblical chapters - and they are precious ones and along the lines of my leading surely - as the advice to keep my service of counseling and abilities as those only in accord with his directions. How he has led to this end - oh, how! With what amazing results. I learned hypnosis - and always intuitive inner rebellion that not God’s way - and how importuned I’ve been to use it

• and with what opportunity for revealing HIS way for healing
• its dangers for the entire Being even tho a symptom be removed - and yet without the sanctification that comes thru HIS approach - far more potent and all-inclusive. Yes, it was worthy advice and has been heeded.

I’ve been practically living in the Church of late for solitary prayer as well as in unison with others and joining prayer groups of just a few in different churches, open. I’ve conversed with many rectors led to hear myself speak words he puts in my mouth - with what experiences! Procrastination reigns in N.Y. - I have promise and that for months that I would be sent patients - but not as yet. It is a testing time with relation to having people sent in need, with apartment, and daily provision for need, as costs are phenomenal here and one undernourished by restaurant food. Several tried to assist and told me of places they knew about

• just returned from one - $160 for room and no kitchenette - and that by the MONTH. All in this range! But thru the Holy Spirit I now pray with power, so I trust, for SELF, as I have for others - and some way must open.

You mentioned possibility of introducing me to doctors and psychiatrist. I do anticipate that opening when you can so arrange it; meanwhile hoping to hear from Mrs. Chandler and Mrs. Scilipoti.

Thank you for your recent letter. It is most kind of you to introduce me to Mrs. David E. Kahn by letter. She telephoned yesterday and we plan to meet for a talk on Monday, next. In the meantime I continue to pray for God’s guidance as to the ones with whom I serve. The healing work is taking tremendous bounds…and in the Churches. I was invited to give four addresses here in N.Y. at one of the outstanding churches which is all spade work for the fall activities.

Your invitation to attend the June Congress is deeply appreciated but as time advances toward that date I know it will be impossible due to two cases in my hands now, - and the general housing situation where I can’t safely leave where I have been “existing” until final departure. A person deriving much benefit from my work, unable to show appreciation otherwise, presented my problem at her large Government office when the employees were informed they would leave for Washington the 25th of this month. Hundreds of vacant apartments, thereby. She had several who turned in their addresses to her with names of renting agents - but

• what histories of really racket-work. Triple rents. Furniture added and one room rocketing to 175! I did take an option on one for 125 when my head went berserk with idea I at least had one in my hands. Next day declined as I just could not swing it with price of food and all and fact many can’t and others don’t pay for healing as they do for doctors who often do nothing. Thankless work and if only one could live on that, serving His little ones.

I just pray for material needs now - and that a new adventure for Me for Myself! Therefore I hope before August when I am invited to assist Mrs. Agnes Sanford at Geneva Point Camp for healing, to have found a place so I can safely leave. Living with eight, next to a bath shared by the eight and the landlady one of them insisting I leave so she can also rocket my tiny hole, isn’t too, too inspiring - and for three and one half years adjustment thereto somewhat fatiguing! The lack of sun and air has been the severest problem, and as it touches my service I do believe now that I surrender this need to Him it will be provided.

May great benefits be realized by all at the Congress. My prayers and encircling thoughts will be with you for the Reign of truth with all its benefits.

Do I understand that I am allowed within the year to have a follow up one for ten dollars? Possibly that means physical - and not the life reading.
