This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of June, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self, through wife, Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Penna.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes.

  3. As we find, there are responses and there are upsets.

  4. We would continue with most of those things that have been indicated.

  5. Should there arise the filling, or the fullness in the chest, shortness of breath, apply an onion poultice over the area - to draw or to disseminate and dissipate the fluid. Chop onions rather fine, preferably using old onions rather than new ones. Then heat them; not too much, as to burn, but keep the oils in same. Sprinkle just a little yellow oat or corn meal in same, so as to make a poultice of the onions - having a layer of onions half an inch thick on plain gauze. Apply this for an hour at the time.

  6. If this persists, keep on adding more of these poultices, for it will dissipate the accumulations.

  7. In the diet keep to those things indicated as medicine, but add not so much of liquids but a little more of such as oatmeal, well prepared, - preferably the cut oats; also fish, especially seafoods. These, with whatever vegetables agree with the body will be the better.

  8. We are through for the present.
