This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of July, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [325].

Time of Reading 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before. Conditions show there are still much of those conditions as have existed, yet building and replenishing in the system has gone on, and we are meeting and combating those conditions throughout the conditions in the system, as related to those in the breast and in the glands about same. These are being combated well. Strength and vitality needs be maintained, as does that of the stimulation in centers of ELIMINATION, OSTEOPATHICALLY given; in a MASSAGE osteopathically, rather than of the ADJUSTMENT osteopathically. We would have those - Berger Grace C. Berger, D.O., Theodore J. Berger, D.O.] - to give those massages IN this way and manner; also we will find that with the giving of the light rays from those of the Bundick lamp, or the ultra-violet from such strength lamp, WITH those of the ash properly taken, these will materially aid in keeping the conditions in alignment in system. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) Would it be advisable for body to stay in New York or go on a trip? (A) Go on a trip, if could get all of the treatments. Otherwise, be sure the strength has been sufficiently built up to meet the needs of conditions when only portions of it may be taken.

3. (Q) What is wrong with the lamp now being used? (A) It’s too much of the exterior and not sufficient of the interior portions of the system. When these are applied, they should be applied along the CEREBROSPINAL centers, see? to the back. We are through with this reading.

R1. 7/26/30 “The reading came and, as it said, I am feeling fine. As I have nothing to worry about for once I am getting stronger and can walk ten blocks. All I need is a good lamp, as this one does burn up tissue. I want to build up my strength with God’s help so that I can take a trip to see [daughter [558] in Okla.]. Thanks so very much for the reading.”

R2. 8/15/30 Son [257]‘s letter: “Mother has been ill yesterday in bed. I had hoped that she could come down to the Beach for a couple of weeks but she does not feel like traveling at this time.”

R3. 11/5/30 “I am getting along nicely, since I do not take on everybody’s worries.”

R4. 11/25/30 Son [257] wrote that “Mother has had a lot of trouble around her heart, and it makes me terribly uneasy.”

R5. 12/23/30 Son [257] wrote: “I saw Franklin Bradley in Chicago. He is going to make the Ash for Mother until we work out a plan for handling it.”

R6. 12/30/30 See EC’s ltr. to Mr. Bradley under 409-17 Reports in re great benefit Mrs. [325] had obtained from the Ash. “During the last year she steadily improved when taking it, after the physicians had given her only about two weeks to live.”

R7. 2/9/31 “I do not worry over the things I used to and my health has been good. I shut my eyes and ears to all I do not want to worry about.”
