FEM: You will now take up this body and tell me if the treatments that the doctors have been giving this body are correct or not.

EC: Yes, we have had this before. The conditions are somewhat improved through some portions of the body. The atropine should be given only often enough to control the lymphatics from the navel as it shows that the flow from there to the eyes or facial portions of the body. The osteopathic treatments should be more to assist the liver and kidneys to throw off the poisons as being absorbed in the system for elimination.

[As a] dressing for the broken tissues and abrasions [it] would be well to use this solution or this lotion: take equal parts of Plantain Root and stem, see, by weight, reduce to a jelly formation, that is, by boiling; add equal part of oil of butterfat to make a salve or lotion. Apply that.
