This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Phillips Hotel, Dayton, Ohio, this 28th day of June, 1923.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Now as we find conditions are not being eliminated properly as we have given before, and the rise of the reaction in the system that may be expected from time to time, as we have given. We have been too long since the [Atropine] injections, you see. We have not had enough of the eliminating through the osteopathic forces, not enough of the vibration to these altogether. We expect this to be rather serious if not met at once, and give the vibrations to overcome with the applications. Keep the body from infection by rubbing the body in various places. Keep antiseptics with it, you see. Use the Plantain, as we have given. We must keep all of these going in the system if we would remove these conditions in the system, and we will if we keep these up, as we have outlined. Do that.

2. (Q) Is the plantain root being kept fresh enough? (A) Be better if it was used fresh every day, you see, else we use [lose?] the strength, or we had from that it [the plant?] gathers as may be found here. It grows now along on the river here, you see.

3. (Q) What river? (A) Close by. [GD’s note: Miami River, Dayton, Ohio.]

4. (Q) Should the application of the Abrams treatment be increased? (A) Necessary to meet the condition at present, and will be necessary to inject the atropine more often in the system to meet the needs of the elimination through the lymph forces, to overcome this lymph gathering in the system and producing this condition, you see.

5. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given at this time? (A) Every third day. Is rather strenuous treatment with it right at the present time.

6. (Q) How often should the atropine be injected? (A) To meet the conditions, continue as we have given before. There will be times when this may be left off longer than at others, see, by the condition that shows when and how often is the condition that arises just above the umbilicus where it must be injected, and the condition of the elimination through the condition of the bowels. Do not allow these to become choked. This produces infection in elimination through the system.

7. (Q) Has the sarcoma germ become revived? (A) Not revived in action in itself, for the growing in the enlivening condition in the system is produced from toxins within, as we gave. As we have in the correction we should have more of the deep manipulation to enliven the liver and the excretory system, and the plantain should be of the force to destroy that [as it] presents itself. Prevent external infection and internal infection, if we bring the best to this body. It may be done if properly followed. Do that.
