This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his father”s home on South Virginia St., Hopkinsville, Ky., this 27th day of November, 1924, in accordance with request by Mr. [3775]”s brother, Mr. [244].

[Edgar Cayce; L. B. Cayce, Conductor; Miss Frith, Steno. Mr. [3775]”s sons, […] and [1427].]

Room 322, Jennie Time of Reading Stuart Hospital, 11:00 P. M. Hopkinsville, Ky. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here now. We find there are serious conditions with the body at the present time. These conditions have been produced by specific conditions that have existed in the body for times back and conditions that have been accorded the body have aggravated the conditions and made it of a specific nature. Now these are the conditions, as we find them, in the body of [3775].

  2. First, in the blood supply, this we find is carrying, and has been carrying for some time, that baccilli [bacilli] or that stretococa [streptococcus] that produces inflammation and pus in the system. These we find are produced first by a congestion in the system. Then the taking of virus in the body, brought to the circulation that condition that produced in the blood system, and especially in the cappilary [capillary] circulation. These pus forming sacs and this produces temperature at times in the system, especially at certain cycles in circulation, when equilibrium is wont to be made in circulation.

  3. In the present conditions we find these pus forming bacilli have become of a nature that the whole system is becoming saturated with this condition and in the lower limb, in the left side, shows condition that brings this to a specific place from a fracture as received in the frontal bone in times back.

  4. This reaching that stage where conditions have taken laxness to the creating of structural operations, makes the more specific condition. By the conditions as shown here these without caustic rusal [removal] will bring malignant conditions unless the scraping of the bone proper and the sealing of same, unless these show their reduction in the system there will be found the necessity of trefinding [trephining] the limb proper, then removing the marrow, for this is showing destructive forces here. Then, to bring the better conditions to this special portion of the system, necessary that this be done: Remove those conditions in the limb where these sacs form in the tissue and give internally Life Everlasting. See? With the sealing of this fracture, this would reduce under normal conditions this response necessary that trefinding [trephining] operation be preferred by burning and then boring into the bone, and boring them with the formation found in strong solutions, carbolic acid, in the center of the bone. See. Then reducing the temperature in system. In the nerve system we find the reaction from stimulus too, the nerve forces too in the functioning organ we find the system wasting; two conditions. Follow those suggestions as given would we bring [help] to this body of [3775].

[11/27/24 Following above reading, the second son, [1427], reminded his brother of the injury their father had in 1923 on his left leg.]
