This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of May, 1931, in accordance with request made by Hugh Lynn Cayce over phone.

Time of Reading Culpepper County, 3:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you the treasure located near Kelly’s Ford, Culpepper County, Va., and the work which has been done in attempting to locate this by A. C. Preston, Hugh Lynn Cayce and Gray Salter. You will give the number of feet to the treasure from the present excavation made in the last few days, and direct these individuals just how they should proceed. You will answer the questions which will be asked concerning same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the operations here, as have been made in attempting to locate the treasure here. As we find, this is still intact, and they have opened to the place, yet this has been not wholly uncovered. In reaching same, will be necessary that the excavations be cleared and continue into that portion among the logs and rocks to the south and west end, where these are being - or have been heretofore - uncovered. Do not give same up until located, or until there is not a checking with the instruments and the information - see? Ready for questions.

3. (Q) We have dug in place indicated by indicator and have only found driftwood, logs and rock. Should we proceed directly towards the river past this indication. (A) This, as we find, is not all driftwood, but proceed rather where the ash indicates where the fire and rocks were poured together with the cache, see?

4. (Q) What was the relation to the treasure of the three large logs located in the south corner of present excavation, and what is location of treasure from these? (A) These are the portion of the covering of the treasure, as we find.

5. (Q) What was the relation to the treasure of the large rock we moved Friday from the west corner of present excavation? (A) This is next to that that’s covering the treasure.

6. (Q) Was the cave-in which occurred Saturday morning caused by natural conditions or a shifting of the treasure? (A) Rather that of a COMBINATION of conditions, as was the noises, as was the voices, as was the conditions attempting to - See, there is a division in the forces as respecting those that would locate and those that would not allow same to be located. Hence the disturbances.

7. (Q) What should be the attitude of A. C. Preston, Hugh Lynn Cayce and Gray Salter in relation to these noises that they heard? (A) In that same prayerful attitude that these will be used in the way and manner, when located, as has been promised, see? Keep the work until there is no checking with the instrument and the information. We are through with this reading.

My Dear Dr. Cayce:

It is with real regret that I shall be unable to attend your organization meeting Sunday. I have been planning and counting on being there but as you know I have a lease deal on hand that I cannot leave at this time and be fair and just to the men that have gone into it with me.

I do not know all the ideas and ideals that you have worked out in connection with the organization and would appreciate, after it is completed, if you would advise me of them.

My own idea is that the IDEAL SOUGHT should be to bring back to the people of all the world that REAL RELIGION teaches the brotherhood of mankind. It makes one amiable and friendly. You have a feeling of affection for your fellow man. You have the desire and inclination to help him. You are ever ready to make personal sacrifice to relieve Suffering Humanity. It is upstanding Christians of this sort that SANCTIFY RELIGION and that make people everywhere worship at its shrine.

Human Nature has not changed since the time of Christ. Certain definite instincts have been implanted within human souls, and the strength of will and character essential to follow the “straight and narrow” path is possessed by but few people. This I think is the IDEAL under which the organization should be founded.

My idea as to how the work should be carried out I think can be shown under the following diagram:

The Head of the organization to consist of from three to seven who shall have charge over all the subsidiaries. These members shall at all times abide by the information derived from the readings given by Dr. Cayce or the ones trained under him to do this work.

PSYCHIC SCHOOL

This school to be under the personal supervision of Dr. Cayce. This school to be the parent school for schools to be established all over the world.

MEDICAL SCHOOL & HOSPITALS

A. New Remedies B. New Treatments

Medical Science in this country has become an acute question and the medical profession is “under fire” as never before. There is a distinct and rapid movement away from the individual doctor treating and charging as he pleases without check or responsibility, to a sort of a group or co-operative service under which every sick person may be treated both efficiently and fairly.

Of the new remedies and treatments never before has there been such energy, bold tinkering and hopeful “groping” as is now going on. It is amazing to see what a variegated crew of searchers is now toiling on these problems.

In Princeton a zoologist makes a broth from beef glands that relieves patients suffering from the supposedly incurable Addison’s Disease.

In Copenhagen a throat doctor, Strandburg, by a simple improvement on nature brings unlooked for hope to sufferers from tuberculosis of the throat.

In Schenectady, Whiting, who is not a physician stumbled onto a weird ELECTRIC FEVER and no one knows the number of diseases that may be controlled by it. Already under its influence the doomed general paralytics are being brought back to health and sanity.

Marvelous you say? No more so than some of the work that has been done by Dr. Cayce.

This branch should be in charge of a highly educated and skilled mechanically engineer, especially one in electrical engineering.

You will notice that in my arrange I have brought the Oil & Gas and Treasure Explorations. If the organization is to be a success it must of necessity be adequately financed at all times. In my opinion with the information received through Dr. Cayce the Oil & Gas and Treasure Explorations would supply the finances as needed.

In closing I hope that you will pardon me if I quote some information that was given me through your force. I think that it expresses the manner and Ideal as to how the organization should be carried on.

“Then, so make thine self one with the purposes, the aims, that there is the answer to each individually and collectively. Then proceed slowly, for it is line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little, until the whole leaven be leavened”; for “I seek not for mine self, but that all men - everywhere shall know that the glory of the Father is IN the earth.”
