This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of July, 1940, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [409], through her sister, Mrs. [1850], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What is causing high blood pressure? (A) Lack of equalization of the flow of blood through the lower portions of the system, filling in this way the lungs AND the heart. If there will be the rubbing or massaging of the limbs, and the lower portion of the body, - with the colonic irrigations, easily given, this should be reduced.

4. (Q) Do I have a growth, or gall bladder trouble? (A) Not a growth, not a gall bladder trouble; rather the needs of removing the pressures in those areas indicated above and at the 9th dorsal, for the releasing of the pressures there, allowing better circulation.

5. (Q) What causes deep soreness in stomach and right side of rib? (A) Accumulations of poisons and some of the mucous that needs to be removed from the intestinal system.

It is well that the body rest, keep quiet, and to not eat heavy or solid foods; but it would be well, too, for those pressures to be removed AND for the poisons and pressures to be taken off, through the colonic irrigations as indicated.

6. (Q) What can be done to remove pus from kidneys? (A) Stimulate the circulation through the manners indicated, that there may be the better circulation through same; thus throwing off the poisons, gradually draining them through normal channels, - else these may become so stiff, so hardened, as to produce SOFTENING of the structure of the kidney, [Nephritis?] or necessitate operative measures.

But if there will be done that as indicated, consistently, better conditions may be expected. We are through with this Reading.
