This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 12th day of August, 1940, in accordance with request made by the self through her sister, Mrs, [1850], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.
-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
As we find, there would not be a great deal of change made in the administrations being given; though we WOULD aid the body by the occasional use of the high enemas. This will reduce the pressure in the blood stream, aiding better activity of the kidneys than most other things.
-
Also we find that a weak Mullein Tea would aid in reducing the tendencies for the accumulation of lymph through the abdomen and the limbs. Prepare same in this manner:
-
To 1 pint of water add 1 ounce of the Mullein well bruised (with some of the flower included, would be well). Let it come ALMOST to a boil. Then set it aside to cool. Keep it on ice, of course, and make fresh every day or two. Take a tablespoonful of this about twice or three times a day.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What will bring on menstruation - will that help her? (A) This will not help in the present, and those things indicated as having been given to help - as injections - have hindered it.
-
(Q) Would it be all right to have her bled - to bring down blood pressure? (A) IF done under the supervision of one present, - that is, with the physician being present and doing same; though it will make a sore hard to heal.
-
(Q) Why has the body not responded to treatment? (A) So many things have been applied that it has made rather a confusion, and the body has become rather in that attitude of “giving up.”
-
(Q) Is there any chance for her to get better? (A) That will depend upon the body, and the applications.
Do as has been given.
- (Q) What causes loss of vision? (A) Pressure from the kidneys and the lymph flow through the system. Hence those things indicated to aid in better elimination.
Watermelon Seed Tea will at times help, but don’t give it on the same day or time that you give the Mullein Tea!
-
(Q) Would it still be helpful to have the osteopathic treatments if they can be secured at home? (A) Not in the present, we wouldn’t find it necessary - save as to RELAX the body; in that it would be MOST helpful.
-
(Q) Anything else that may be done to relieve strain on bladder? (A) Do these things as we have indicated.
-
We are through for the present.
