This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of May, 1926, in accordance with request made by Dr. and Mrs. A. C. Layne. Involuntary reading. (Volunteered, without suggestion being presented, at the end of two other check readings gotten that A.M.)

Time of Reading 223 W. College, St., 12:10 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. Griffin, Ga.

1. EC: Now, we have those conditions as regarding the body, [4281], 223 West College Street, Griffin, Georgia. The conditions as we find in this body are gradually on the improve, and the body needs only be kept in the ways and manners as have been outlined as regarding the diet for this system, changing according to the necessities of the conditions as arise from time to time with the digestion.

2. The inflammation, or that bacilli of malaria as is seen, is produced by the condition of toxins as form in the lacteal ducts, and the manipulation in the region of the 7th and 8th dorsal, where the lesion HAS shown, will assist in the elimination of these conditions.

3. The taking of properties in system, such as the tonics for such conditions, had best be left off at the present. Rather massage into the lymphatic circulation those properties of quinine - Coco-Quinine preferred, in the cocoa butter, and the absorption in the system will be sufficient to overcome this through this circulation, rather than taking properties into the digestive system that is ALREADY overtaxed to overcome same.

4. As also will be seen in the throat, bronchials, larynx, in the action of the body in the lower limbs, this is produced by this over eating at times, or the keeping the body CONSTANTLY active through digestive system. Best that the body be fed at regular, specific and specified times, than of constantly feeding that into the system that keeps the digestion constantly in activity.

5. As to the diet itself, these have been outlined sufficient and often enough, through the action of those watching this, as to see the changes as necessary. Never any RAW MILK to the body, until this system is changed.

6. Well that high enemas be used to ELIMINATE, rather than purgatives in system, to cleanse, especially, the colon; for with bacilli, especially of the malarial character, we find that when the feces is imbedded in portions of the colon, especially in the ascending, this produces temperature, when in reality the body is normal throughout every functioning, see? Hence this, with tepid water, with a mild antiseptic at times, such as is found in Glyco-Thymoline, used in the water (small quantity - teaspoonful to a half gallon, see?), or, as may be seen, sometimes this may be taken internally (Glyco-Thymoline) - few drops in the water to form as an antiseptic, for this is an alkaline and not an acid, which is better, especially in the colon and lower portion of system, see?

7. Follow these, then, in this way and manner, using the manipulation in this portion where lesions have been shown, in the lower region as given; following out the suggestions here of keeping medicinal properties OUT until absolutely necessary for the system, see? Rather take them by absorption - following the diet along the way and manner as given. We will bring the better conditions for this body.
