This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 22nd day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [4691].

Time of Reading At her store, 11:10 A. M. Dayton Savings Time. …, Alabama.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same.

2. EC: Now, we find there are some improvements in the conditions as are seen in this body, and we only need to keep up consistently and persistently the conditions as have been outlined for this body, for the vibrations as are being created by the radium forces through pad, these need to be kept, you see, close to body at all times, for this is assisting with the other properties in gently bringing about the correct conditions for the body.

3. Keep these three weeks longer. Then we will have conditions to be changed through medicinal properties. Do that, those as we have given, consistently, persistently, watching the diet and keeping strictly to those conditions as have been outlined for the body, for we find the conditions now on the improve.

4. We are through for the present.

R1. 7/14/25 [4691]‘s letter to EC:

Mr. Edgar Cayce Dayton, Ohio

Sir: According to your request I am letting you hear from me in three weeks.

My heart is troubling me very much, it has pain at times on upper side next to arm also near the middle on next to center of chest. At times it feels like big lumps might be passing of which causes me to feel so strange. Then again my heart beats so slow and weak, especially at nights when I lie down, always bad or worst when I awake in the in the a.m. and I awake suddenly in night and find my heart so weak caused me to rouse up.

I think if I could get my bowels corrected that would be of great help to me. I have had constipated bowels for 20 years, and I have to take something every night to make them move next day. From the past year I have taken from 1/2 to 1 teaspoon every night of Cascara Evacuant, but of course that does not say my liver is acting.

About 6 years ago last Jan I had the flu, a very bad case, which left my bronchial tubes affected. I have a peculiar hoarseness all summer, but no sore throat, but not hoarse in the winter. I also suffer with what the Dr here calls neuralgia of the chest, from my waist up, it feels like croup in your limbs, like something in middle of my body is drawing to the center, I suppose nerve leaders & I cannot take any opiate on acct of weak heart. Now this is my condition on this part of my body.

My floating kidney as our Dr here call it is very much improved also my back. I am on my feet practically all the time at the little store where my living is in, but I cannot lift any thing heavy, a bolt of cloth causes it to slip down when it is even not heavy you know. I just have to bend over, cannot squat down if I do the kidney goes away down and at times it can be seen the impression on out side of my stomach like an egg on end, then I have to lie in bed from 5 to 10 days for it to go back to place. You see why I am so anxious to be cured if possible, if not to be helped all I can. I also fell out of door a year ago and the Dr here said he thought the very small bones at end of back bone was pressed up and that has troubled me so very much. Now that is better than since I got the fall. I wear the applicator every minute only when I am taking a bath.

If you think a reading is needed let me know as soon as possible as I am anxious to do what is for my good. I am your patient, and I assure you I carry out your orders to the letter. I forgot to tell you that for several years I had to sleep on my left side on acct of kidney, now my heart will not allow me to lie on left side, it feels like it gets weaker all the time. My “ANTRUM” is not better as I can see, but I know that time has to be given for the whole system to be built up.

My face has dark splotches under my eyes and over my face this summer, but never before. Let me hear from you as soon as possible.
