This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of September, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [480], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:55 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes - [480].

3. As we find, conditions are developing rather normally with this body, and there should be - through the week of the 29th of October OR November - the delivery. [November OR December?]

4. Those precautions need to be kept, as we find, as to the activity of the kidneys.

5. We would continue with the Calcios, but rather in a diminished quantity. Take it about twice a week now, rather than so regularly - but continue with same.

6. These as we find - with the general precautions that attend such conditions and developments - should make for normal delivery and a HEALTHY offspring.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Should Codiron be continued? (A) This we would NOT take unless there is a great deficiency in the appetite, until AFTER delivery - THEN take this regularly for a period of at least six to eight weeks. Leave it off now, but do not leave off Calcios.

9. (Q) Have noticed slight hemorrhoid condition. Would like to clear same up. Please give full directions. (A) Use TIM with the injection or tube, that will make for the eliminating of the disturbance.

10. (Q) Did dream I had on night of Aug. 19th have any special significance? [GD’s note: See her letter 9/6/38 under 480-48 Reports saying: “I dreamed of Mother, she said I’d have a little girl.” A fine baby son, [1788], was born on 12/8/38. On 5/8/42 a baby girl was born. Perhaps, because of sad memories of both [601] and [480] in re baby son born dead on 7/6/37 and [601]‘s passing on 4/20/38, the dream of the mother predicting a baby girl was jumping ahead to a happier, more adjusted time, when the little girl would appear.] (A) Yes - as we find - VERY significant.

There is a much nearer association with the mother than is felt at times.

R1. 10/3/38 “Thank you very much for my rdg. - it was encouraging and gratifying to know that Mother is so close to me. I feel her very close sometimes and I needn’t tell you how greatly we all miss her.

“The Tim (for hemorrhoids) came and I am using it and getting results.

“The question I asked in my telegram was not asked. Did you overlook it? The upper and lower dorsal area of the spine has been quite achy.

“I have asked Mrs. [1100] to wire for a rdg. for me and for the baby [1788] as soon as she hears from [633] after I get to the hospital. “Send the rdgs. to her and she’ll see that I get them or [633] does. As the rdg. said it will be around the end of Nov.

“I hope we have a little girl - it would seem like a little more of the emptiness would be filled if we had a [[…] [601] named] with us again.”
