This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of January, 1926, which came involuntarily, without suggestion being given to obtain it, following three readings, a physical for Mrs. [325], a mental-spiritual volunteered for Mr. [551] and a business reading for Mr. [4278] in Texas, familiar with the [5628] series.

EC: Now, we have those conditions as surround the operations on the well in Bosque County, Texas, on the lands of Madison Byron Wyrick.
-
The conditions, as has been given, may be carried out in the way and manner as has been outlined for same, and would prove a great deal more less expensive and more to the betterment of conditions in the future, by handling in that manner than by attempting to drill up, or to use any corrosive acids or sublimates to rid the conditions, for these, as we find, do not give the best effects to future operations or materials used after such has been used in such operations, see? Then carry out that as has been given, for we would find the successful terminations in this, and very soon, and unexpected to many.
-
We are through for the present.

R1. 1/12/26 EC’s letter to Mr. Wyrick:
115 West 35th Street Virginia Beach, Va.
My dear Mr. Wyrick:-
I thank you for yours sent me on the 4th, also for the information from Mr. Martin. I guess I should have undertaken this sometime ago, but I haven’t known how to commence. Seemingly, this should be some help, so I am sending it along and hoping that it will be. We’re mighty anxious and trust that you will let us hear every opportunity.
Hoping this finds you feeling real good and conditions progressing favorably, with kindest personal regards from all,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

Dear Mr. Wyrick:
I was glad to get yours of recent date, and glad to know that Cayce says Pat will clean the hole. I feel sure he will. Tho it’s taking longer than we thought it would when we got it. They have lost about one third of the time from work at the well, it has taken quite a little of Pats time to get the tools he wanted, and may have to get one more before he gets the pump out, then he may have everything here that he needs. Had to get sinker $70.00, sand pump 68.00, jars 35.00, and bit 30. Reamer 45.00 and all.
Pat came up to my house last night and stayed until 11 o’clock. We were talking over the plans of how best to get the pump and at the cheapest way. So we read Cayce’s readings. Seems he and Pat’s ideas run along about the same way.
This is about the hardest little fishing job Pat has had since he has been here - it looks like its a simple job, but doing it is a different thing. Pat just simply will not give up but thought its the best chance for a big well he ever saw, and I know he is anxious to clear the hole.

R6. 1/17/26 (Sunday) G. C. Martin’s letter to Mr. Wyrick:
Dear Mr. Wyrick:
It rained all night so I failed to go out this A.M. waiting for it to clear a little so as not to bog up. The well took a great way caving yesterday it bridged 160 feet up above tools, rather the sand pumps - caught the sand pump Pat had running took one hour and 20 minutes to get thru cavings. Soon after they got out it began to rain, there is more than two inches fallen. So this may be good for crops.
Just here Farris comes in with Cayce’s 12th your notation on bottom. The bailer is just at the top of lime, at which point the big cave occurred that took so long to get by.
If the pump would only go into the lime so that it could not fall over we would soon get it out.
The drillers feel sure of success and are trying hard to recover the bailer.
There is quite a lot of water in the hole for its since Dec. 12th that we got the fishing job.
Sister has a ‘uke so is keeping plenty noise.
Be sure to come when you can. Sincerely G. C. M.
I got a copy of the letter that George LaBryn sent out on Jan. 1st. Tell him that it is a dandy letter, and it covers a lot of the facts in the case, and the shareholders should readily respond to it for it is like Pat says, “It would not be treating themselves fair if they should quit here.”
George has been a good booster and I feel he shall have his reward for it for the more I know of Cayce’s readings the more I am convinced that it is a reality, for it was only when I had his reading that I began to get better, and if I had another bottle of the medicine I would be well by early Spring.
Wish you would tell George if he can find the stuff for me and send it to make up another quantity I will always be under obligations to him and I can say that Cayce is correct on the readings for the human body.
By the way. I was in Cleburne, Mrs. S. said she can see us succeeding in a big way, and thot the hole will soon be cleared, and she sees big things doing soon.
I wish you could come down soon?
Kindest regards to all. Sincerely [signed] Claude M.

Chgo.
Dear Cayce,
Enclosed all information I have had from well past 10 days. We do not progress. Seems to be something wrong.
I do wish we could get a reading that would explain to Pat exactly how to remove the obstruction. We are about the end of our resources cannot finance much longer.
Hope you and family are well Very best wishes M B Wyrick
