This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [551].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the mind of [551], in the office of [900], lower floor, … New York City, N.Y., with the associations of this body, especially his relation as regarding Mr. Marshall A. Smith and Mr. Harry Brocker, who are both located in J. T. Benkard & Co., room 520 at 61 Broadway. You will please give us the prospects of [551]‘s association with these gentlemen and anything else that will assist him in making the success he desires.

2. EC: Yes, we have the mind of Marshall A. Smith and of Harry Brocker, as related to that of [551]. Now, the circumstances, the conditions, as relate to the body and the mind of [551] are changed from that as we have had here before. Again and again there comes to the body, the mind, those opportunities to touch or to come in contact with those forces as, when used and guided aright, will bring those greater successes, mentally, morally and financially for this body. Again we find same in the office and associations as the body has at present, yet as seen, first, for the body [551] to make the success (not so much as desired but that as is correct and proper, and what WILL be desired and necessary for the entity when success is made) study that as has been given to the entity [See his Life Reading, 551-3.] how that first the body, the mind, must make itself right with the Creative Forces - God - that may manifest through this body, see?

3. The associations as we find with Smith and Brocker may be turned - may be turned into the correct channels that will bring the financial success in a manner and lead to a greater, a better, a more influential association with these individuals, see? First must come those relations with that ever present force that gives the answer for this individual to make that success as should come to the body, see?

4. In the relations, then, with others, bear in that same relation as has often been given the entity, “As ye would that men should do unto you, do ye even so to them” and man means WOMAN also, see? Then in all relations, remembering first that as the promise has ever been made unto the children of men, “Forsake not My ways and draw nigh unto me, and I will draw nigh unto thee.” The Lord does not allow those of His children [to beg bread?], Psalms 37:25] those doing His biddings, see? for “Who is my mother? Who is my brother?” Him that doeth the Will of My God and Master, see? When thou hast drawn nigh unto Him, His promises are faithful, and “The silver, the gold, is mine,” sayeth the Lord of Hosts. Seek ye first that Kingdom, and through the application of self to the work of that - whether be in selling stocks or selling ribbon, selling shoes or in selling steamships, the same applies in that Law of Him, Who is Lord over all. Follow then, keeping in that way, and there shall come to thee that bright and shining light, leading unto the higher, holier and better way.

On the 1st of this month I have had a little deal that is now materializing reference to a stock [See 551-6, Par. 1]… In the meantime, Mr. [900] has been very considerate and kind to me and in return now I am located in his office and am influencing my friends who are traders and brokerage concerns to give him business. So far, I have done very well but I shall appreciate if you can give me a Business reading of success in my trading in Mr. [900]‘s office…”
