This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of February, 1929, in accordance with request made by his mother, Mrs. [4280].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5520] - this we have had before. In the physical forces there is still existent those conditions as bring too much of the acid reaction in the digestive system. Hence those conditions as are apparent in the eliminations, and especially as in the capillary circulation, where irritation is experienced in the epidermis and skin. In following the suggestions as have been given respecting this, we would follow very closely that of the alkalines for the body - with only those of the juices of meats as proteins, and the relations of conditions should be, and can be, handled by the proper use of Castoria as the eliminant for the conditions existent in the system at the present time. Follow those. These should be known, and are known. Then follow those consistently and persistently.

2. In the manipulations as may be given to assist these conditions for this body - stimulate those of the lower hepatic circulation, see? stimulate those centers from the cerebrospinal centers that will stimulate the activity of the lower hepatic circulation. Relax by producing nearer tautness; that is, relax the muscles that prevent the conditions from being normal in the UPPER portion of body, or those of the 2nd dorsal and 5th and 6th cervical. Also stimulating those of the head and neck through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd nerve entrances and their branches to the face and head. Do that, and we will bring the nearer normal conditions and relieve the body of these forces. We are through for the present.

R1. 3/5/29 Mother [4280]‘s letter: ”…Your good letter and the reading of [5520] came yesterday. We so sincerely appreciate your kindness, at all times, and I trust soon to be able to send you an offering…

“[5520] is such a bright, fine little fellow and Dr. Layne says he has an ‘eye of the psychic’. We are hoping wonderful things for him…”

R2. 4/12/29 Mother [4280]‘s letter: ”…[5520] isn’t well at all and is losing weight. The itching and breaking-out on face and limbs does not improve one bit. He has been taking the cooked goat’s milk since July 7th. Dr. Layne says the milk is all protein when cooked and that this is the cause. Please see immediately if he can digest the raw goat’s milk now or is it better cooked? We have been afraid to give it raw, as we thought it caused the serious illness of his bowels last July. Did it? Can he take the whole goat’s milk or should it now be diluted? Please answer these questions and tell me just what fruits and name the vegetables he needs now. How many ounces of milk does he need in 24 hours? Does he need three or four feedings in 24 hours? Please answer just as soon as you can, as the baby needs a change of diet…”
