GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind and the business associations of [554], who is at the Pantlind Hotel, Room …, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Should he accept proposition in Brooklyn or New York? Brooklyn gives no contract to merchandise. A group of buyers N.Y. will give contract to buy for him. Which is best and most acceptable for him? Give any advice and guidance that will help this body regarding this.
-
EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [554].
-
This we have had here before - those of business associations and propositions of those that have been offered, whether Brooklyn or New York. We find the New York proposition the better; yet - as has been given - there are other propositions that are in formation that would present even greater opportunities than this. We would give that the best would be not to accept EITHER of these just at the present time. We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/6/28 GD’s note: EC wired the Reading’s advice.
R2. 1/8/28 [554]‘s letter:
”…Wire received and it sure puts me up a tree since I have practically accepted the Brooklyn proposition which was the most appealing from the money standpoint, and had to give my decision before I got your word. However, not having a contract with these people I still would be able to entertain this other proposition which you speak of and perhaps not materialize for some time, or do you think I will lose the opportunity? I am very anxious to follow your information or suggestion…”
R3. 1/17/28 He referred Mrs. [2215] for a Physical Reading.
