This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce st his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of June, 1935, in accordance with request made by his wife - Mrs. [2470], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Hugh Lynn Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [556]; this we have had before.

  2. Some better do we find the conditions throughout the system.

  3. We would continue with these applications that have been indicated.

  4. Also we would alleviate the colon area and the bowel by the use of enemas occasionally; every day or every other day, or when it’s necessary to aid the eliminations.

  5. In the use of the enemas, to each quart of tepid water add a level teaspoonful of salt and a heaping teaspoonful of baking soda. And in the last or rinse water put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of water, as an intestinal antiseptic.

  6. The weakness in general of the body is indicated by the body continuing to absorb those general eliminations that have been set up from the head and neck.

  7. We would massage gently the knobs that are indicated on the back of head and along the neck with a combination of equal parts Mutton Tallow, Turpentine, Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Just massage what will be absorbed, and it will assist in making for the increased eliminations with the use of the tepid water as an enema through these channels; not allowing same to accumulate through either the respiratory system or other portions of the eliminating system.

  8. Do that.

  9. Strengthen the body through predigested foods. The beef juices, fruit juices and the like are the better for the strengthening of the body.

  10. Ready for questions.

  11. (Q) Will the swelling affect his right eye? (A) Not if the absorptions are carried on properly, to be sure.

  12. (Q) Does he need treatment for his eyes? (A) We are giving treatment for his eyes! Specifics for the eyes may be necessary later; not in the present, as we find.

Of course, the antiseptic solutions should be used as a regular eyewash to prevent the lids becoming irritated so much.

  1. (Q) Do his glasses need changing? (A) We’d better get the body in shape so he’ll need glasses, before he goes to changing ‘em!

These will be needed later.

  1. (Q) Would you recommend giving Protolack injections for building up the kidneys as he has been advised? (A) We would give rather what we have indicated for the absorption by the system, and those things as we have indicated for the building up of these general conditions.

Such injections, while very good in some cases, would not be so good here; for the body is too weak.

  1. (Q) Should the Packs be continued? If so, how much longer? (A) As long as necessary to make for better eliminations from the system.

Maybe not so STRONG; that is, not so long a period, but these GRADUALLY decreased, see?

  1. (Q) Was the enema harmful - (A) (Interrupting) Enemas are helpful.

Do these, as we find, in the present.

  1. We are through with this reading.
