This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of March, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self through daughter, Mrs. [480], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

  2. As we find, there is little change in the general physical forces from that which has been indicated. And with those applications as suggested we should find the better reactions.

  3. Ready for questions.

  4. (Q) Dr. O’Connor [I. L. O’Connor, D.O.] finds a fibroid in uterus, and suggests analyzing tissue to determine whether or not malignant. Is it malignant? (A) As has been indicated, this is not necessarily malignant. If the condition is so irritated by the applications as to bring about a segregation within the irritated portions, this may BECOME malignant! [See daughter [480]‘s ltr. 5/7/38 under 601-31 Reports.]

If there is the desire that this be investigated, very well - but the irritation will be severe for the body!

  1. (Q) Is there a fibroid in uterus, and just what is the condition of it if so? (A) As we have indicated, [See 601-1 on 7/2/34] there is more of a thickening; from the inflammation in the bladder and the organs about same that has produced a thickening of the tissue within the uterus itself.

  2. (Q) What do you advise at this time, considering present conditions? (A) As has been indicated.

  3. (Q) Is Antuitrin-S advised? (A) Not in the immediate. If there is greater irritation, or an indication of this becoming more inflamed, then it might be advisable.

  4. (Q) Did X-Ray treatments weaken body? (A) AS HAS BEEN INDICATED, if these are given properly and NOT too often - but allowing for those reactions and just sufficient of the manipulations to keep the eliminations distributed through their correct channels, these are the better conditions as we find.

  5. (Q) Should the fume baths be continued? If so, how often? (A) These occasionally. When from the activity of the manipulations it is seen that there is not sufficient of eliminations through the perspiratory system, or that the superficial circulation is becoming clogged in any manner, then the fumes would be given.

  6. (Q) Should a tonic be taken to stimulate appetite? If so, what tonic? (A) As we find, if there is given the light wine this should be sufficient stimulant; and do not overtax or overworry or let overanxiety cause greater disturbances.

  7. (Q) Any other advice to Dr. O’Connor? (A) He takes his own advice!

  8. (Q) Is massage good? (A) As has been indicated!

  9. We are through with this Reading.
