This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of October, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [601], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]
Time of Reading 10:45 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [601].
-
We do not find any fracture. There is, of course, the muscular strain; and the injury or bruise on the end of the elbow and at the shoulder.
-
The conditions should be relieved by the application of the combination which has been indicated for such conditions (that is, three parts Tincture of Laudanum to one part Aconite), and the massage with the oil, followed by the application of heat over same - from an electric pad or from salt bags kept heated.
-
Also the massage with the oils as indicated would be well.
-
These will make for the easing of pain.
-
And soon we would have adjustments by the osteopath.
-
These, as we find, will bring about the better conditions.
-
Ready for questions.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 10/7/35 [601]‘s letter: “Man proposes and God disposes. I had planned to do so much this wk. and here I am good for nothing but causing my dear ones and good friends worry and grief.
“I have much to be thankful for. There must have been some powerful influence present to protect me from more serious injury or perhaps death.
“It had been raining and the road must have been very slippery, also a very strong wind of gale proportion helped to make the car skid, and before I realized what was happening the car was beyond control and there I was all over the road heading for a telegraph post and also quite a ditch. The wrecking of the car did not injure me but the rear seat hopped up, struck me and into the windshield (non-shatterable, thank the Lord) and came back again, striking me twice which did the damage.
“After your wire came to Buffalo [601-8] and I realized no bones were broken I still hoped I could continue to N.Y. by train. After talking to Mr. [619] Thurs. eve. he insisted on my coming home, and being in severe pain Fri. morn. the only place was home where I would be the least trouble. Mr. Pressler had the sedative prescription filled and I took it all that evening. Came home Fri. noon and began following the instructions in the telegram. The effects of the osteopathic tr. were very painful, but had another one last night.
“I am feeling a little better today and am hoping to be able to meet [480] and [633] when they come home sometime later in the wk.”
R2. 10/26/35 She referred Mrs. [1036] for a Physical Rdg.
R3. 11/18/35 She obtained a Physical Rdg. for her father, Mr. [1059].
R4. 11/22/35 She was present for her next Ck. Physical - 601-10.
