EC: Yes, we have the body [608] - this we have had before. Now we find there are many changes since last we have had same. Much of the condition as is existent at present comes from a STRAIN the body has received, that brings about the congestion of the hepatic circulation, causing reflexes of the nature that accentuates the activity of the blood supply, creating much of the same reflex as would be found from malarial conditions, yet these are rather the drosses of an inactive force as is not producing proper eliminations from the system, though bearing much of the same nature to the system as would be produced through that of the malarial effect, or affect, in the system; causing nausea, temperature, high hepatic circulation in lower portion of body.
-
Now, to meet the needs of these we would first give that of the proper manipulations through the lower portion of the cervical and dorsal region; also the corrections gently given through the lower part of the lumbar and sacral regions; massaging IN the body - after such manipulations - those of cocoa-butter, see? This will assist the system - from the absorption as is given there - that of the reduction of the temperature; and begin, after the second such manipulation is given (which should be every day for at least three or four, but after the first treatment of such), give those of Castoria in broken doses until there is the FULL reaction from the LIVER and the digestive system.
-
Do not over feed the body for a few days until these corrections are made. Only those of vegetable soups or the juices of same, or of chicken broths, may be given without bad effects. Use preferably Graham crackers, or the whole wheat bread, with such - see?
-
Do that, and we will bring about the normal forces for this body. These manipulations should be given osteopathically, for there are some corrections in the sacral and lower dorsal to be made.
-
(Q) Any special osteopath in Daytona Beach - (A) Anyone that will do the work properly. We are through for the present.

B2. 3/7/29 (Thurs.) Mother [635]‘s ltr.: “She’s been sick since Mon. night - she has a rise of fever every afternoon. She doesn’t seem to have a cold but yesterday she developed large lumps or kernels on side of her throat - Dr. says caused from tonsils. We get the fever back to normal by giving fever powders, but it comes right back every afternoon and night. Then her little stomach seems wrong - of course she eats nothing, drinks a little milk…she looks so tired and peaked.”
