This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of July, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [760].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [760] and Mrs. [522].]

Time of Reading 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Conditions are much improved in the physical forces of the body from that as we have had here before, and we find that with not more than one more application the conditions, as related to the blood supply, in the urea, will be clarified sufficient to be eliminated entirely from system, unless acidosis is allowed again to set up in the system. Well to keep the eliminations, and to GRADUALLY increase the food supply as for a BALANCE in the system; using a great deal of the citrus fruit, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, for the breakfast meal. Soups or broths, with vegetables that are WELL cooked, provided there is not too much grease in same, will be well. Such as may be found in the yellow neck squash, beans, beets, lentils, spinach, or of the tuberous nature - the potato, provided same is baked - NOT boiled in grease - though some butter, but very little, may be added to same, but eat rather the peel and that close to same - little or none of that in center, unless those of the yam variety is taken. Turnips, provided they are not with that of pork - for these would be unsavory. The tops are the better for the body. Peas - those of the lady peas, or black-eyed - as called - are good, provided not too much grease is cooked with same. Carrots, raw - especially scraped; as also tomatoes and lettuce, and celery. These all may be taken - that is, the raw, with the soups or broths. In the evening would be the better time for that of the vegetables and some of meats, as certain kinds of, or prepared, fish - that baked or boiled, but not that fried, and we will find that those of tea will agree where coffee will not. This may be taken occasionally. Milk - not WHOLE milk, but part milk - will agree with the body.

  2. As for the conditions in the extremities, where there has been bruising or strain in the muscular forces, would be well were these used either with an electrical vibrator, or BAKED a great deal in the sun, or with the Infra Red light. Ready for questions.

  3. (Q) Should continue taking the bile salts? (A) Occasionally, just as given, that eliminations must be kept, and there must be alkalin forces for the system. These are especially indicated by the character or manner of preparing of the foods.

  4. (Q) Can water be used on neck and ears yet? (A) No!

  5. (Q) How long before this can be done? (A) Depends upon the reactions in the system. How long is ANY condition, depends upon the reactions as come for the system. COSMETICS, of a nature, may be used to cleanse, and are much better than water.

  6. (Q) Any other suggestions that will benefit the body? (A) These will be good, if they will be kept, for the physical forces.

  7. That is all the questions regarding this body.

  8. We are through with this reading.
