This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self, Mr. [777], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. and Edgar Evans Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.J. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [777]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, conditions are very much improved from that as we have had here before.

  3. We would continue with the corrections in the cerebrospinal system, that has made for the impulses which have prevented the nominal and normal eliminations through the body.

  4. This, as we will find, with the proper precautions as to make for the normal activity of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, will prevent those conditions in the heart’s activity. And with this prevent the necessity of there being used that to make for the external or the superficial and extremity circulation.

  5. Hence there is no necessity of taking that which tends to dilate the heart’s activity.

  6. Make for precautions as to NOT having any quantities of red meat. No activity that makes for too great an exertion for the lung activity.

  7. Keep the eliminations near normal, and we should make for the keeping of the body in a much nearer normal condition.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) Should I take any Theocalcium or Digitalis? (A) As indicated; it is better NOT to have to take these.

And with the corrections in the system, with the precautions as to the activities, with the keeping of the eliminations as indicated, and the activity of the organs through the eliminations, it should not be necessary; and it would be much preferable NOT to take same.

  1. (Q) Do you advise any physical or mental activities; such as ocean bathing, garden-work, weeding or cutting the grass? (A) The NORMAL activity in the open is well for the body. Not too great a STRAIN on the body. Ocean bathing is well, when this is done in the MODERATE manner. Not overexertion in ANY form does the body good, but a normal activity; such as a little work in the garden or around, sea bathing, a general outing - these are well for the body.

  2. We are through with this reading.
