This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 27th day of March, 1924, in accordance with request made by parents, Mrs. [2415] and Mr. [4825], through [287], her uncle.
[Edgar Cayce; Linden Schroyer, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:40 A. M. …, Kentucky. (Physical Suggestion)
- EC: Now, we find conditions somewhat changed from that we had before. There is some better resistance in the system by the removal of the inflammation and pressure caused in the lungs by congestion; while those conditions and suggestions as given have not been carried out, and though the incision has been made to drain the portion of that inflammation it would be well and better that these suggestions were carried out, as given, that the inflammation may be started in elimination in the proper channels, else with the return of the inflammation and temperature we will have a bad condition to overcome. The lungs, both, as we see, are involved, the worse being that as is given. We would give those conditions and apply those things as has been given, in that way and manner, if we would bring the best for this body, even with these conditions, for we must create in the system that incentive for the perfect coagulation without dissimulation in the blood supply, and in the leucocyte supply, by the temperature that comes and goes.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 5/27/24 “I have somewhat recovered from my illness, altho I am not entirely well yet, I am just feeling fine. And I must say I am truly grateful for the invaluable service you have rendered me. Altho it was too late to use the poultice you prescribed, because the incision had already been made, we carried out the other directions and I really believe that they ‘did the trick.’ I think it is perfectly wonderful that you can perform such miracles and I assure you that I am a firm believer in the ‘Cayce’ method of doctoring.”
R2. 1/11/30 Mother writes that [948] is majoring in psychology, teaching, etc.
