This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Cambridge Hotel, Apt. 106, 60 West 68th Street, New York City, New York, on this 16th day of January, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [953].

1. GC: Now you have before you the body of [953], who is present in this room, with the health, the several business readings, and the horoscope of this body. You will answer the following questions, as I ask them, and give full information necessary to a clear understanding of each.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, with the health, the business, the horoscope as given, and those connections with same.

3. As we find in the physical condition, this we find is showing some improvements from those conditions as when last we had this, yet there is that disturbance in the tissue and nerve plexus supplying tissue, and organic functioning, the disturbance that causes uneasiness in the body, rather than of being that detrimental, save under severe strain, whether mental or physical. We would give that counter-irritant for the system as has been given in times back, for with the Ambergris [See 953-1, 2] in system, with the stimulant in the hypogastric region, with the manipulations and adjustments, will correct and relieve the conditions in the body to that extent that the expectancy in the nerve system will respond to the system and eliminate properly rather than causing the conditions through pancrean system and in kidneys.

4. We would do that.

5. In those relations to the business conditions, as have been outlined in this, we find the operations on well are progressing slowly, and some conditions in the hole are not entirely satisfactory at present. [See 4905-12 Reports.] At the present time we find the depth at 4192, with the shale formation giving some troubles, yet showing the production indications, and will only be necessary to insure these conditions to be successful, to carry these on to the depth as given, 4242. This will be found in the sands underlying the black lime, or black slate lime, as will be encountered just through this shale, with a thin layer of whitish gray lime.

6. As to condition in horoscope as given, [953-4] and the relations and the development as is being manifest in the earth’s plane, we find this development such that the body shows the closer relations to the ever giving forces eternal in Him. Needs to give more of self to those forces, that the body, [953], at present should manifest more in this present plane. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Should he have a course of Insulin injections, as has been prescribed by physicians? (A) Insulin for this system would not be detrimental in moderation, provided the adjustments and the properties as given for counter-irritation are kept up. Not be necessary to keep these long.

8. (Q) Is the oil well, [953] and associates are drilling, in Bosque County, Texas, nearing completion? [See 4905-12.] (A) Nearing completion.

9. (Q) How many days, twenty-four hours each, until production will be reached? (A) We have conditions as given to be reckoned here with. We would give, of actual drilling, though there will be some of necessity used in baling in this time, to fight, as it were, the conditions encountered on present, this day, it would require three periods, twenty-four hours each - Monday - should be complete.

10. (Q) What volume of production in barrels in twenty-four hours? (A) Be careful of gas pressure. Volume in production should reach, for it will increase rather than decrease for the first twenty-eight days, beginning with three to thirty-five hundred (3500) barrels of oil per twenty-four hours.

11. (Q) Are there any precautions, except those as have been given, necessary to insure success? (A) Follow those, and be patient with this condition now arising, for it will carry through to success, and should, within twelve hours, be overcome.

12. (Q) After the discovery well referred to [4905-12] comes in, will the financial gain from this field, and the pool in San Saba County, referred to in previous readings [5628-1, etc.], be sufficient to enable [953] and Edgar Cayce to finance the Institute Work, and carry to the people the teaching of the true relations of the individual to the Creator and Ruler of the Universe? (A) Sufficient to finance several such institutions.

13. (Q) In about what period may we expect to make progress with the work? (A) By the 28th of May and by the 25th of October.

14. (Q) Is the physical condition of [953] normal to the extent that he may successfully carry on operations of the oil industry, after the discovery well comes in, without harmful results? (A) Be well, and better, provided the work carries the body, [953], into the open, without the worry of the detail conditions in organization.

15. (Q) Considering the individual entity of [953], from first appearance on this earth to present day, as chronicled in this horoscope, has he the physical and spiritual qualities to cooperate successfully with Edgar Cayce in promoting the great work? (A) This, as has been given only needs the opportunity of manifesting the conditions. This body would be well, as has been given, in the promotion in the fo-thering [fathering - furthering?], in the successful furthering, of such work.
