This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 3rd day of January, 1925, in accordance with request made by by Mr. M. B. Wyrick.

Time of Reading 1:35 P. M. Dayton Time. Bosque County, Texas.

1. GC: Now you have before you the well being drilled on the land owned by Madison Byron Wyrick in Bosque County, Texas. You will please give us the present depth to which this well is drilled, and the depth, with the log, that will be necessary to drill before they reach production. You will also answer questions relative to this that I may ask you.

2. EC: Now we find the present depth is drilled to 4082. This, we see, has passed through many such formations as has been given, reaching the stratas where production should be found, and we have the indications of same. That in the present depth in which the formations will be, and in which the strata that produces the oil at present time will be found in 4242. The variations as has been given are the variations of the conditions existent in times back. This we find is of the condition that exists in the present time, and will be that depth and conditions being those as we see. In this we find at present a softer strata. Then changing to the harder, gradually going to a very hard blue-gray lime, and in this we will begin the gas pressure, coming to the production of present live oil, and gas, in this depth as given.

3. Keep following corrections, and drill to this depth, would we obtain production, in this field.

4. Do that, for this is given as the ensample of conditions existing in the material, the mental, the psychic forces.

5. We have finished.

My dear Mr. Cayce:

Please note copy of messages enclosed [See below] entered in sequence as they were received by me. The first two while in New York, the last three in Chicago.

I did not get a report from Martin Friday morning as I had expected. You will note that the report of the 15th [4905-12] was sent to Chicago and that he mentioned the fact that he lost the drill in the hole. This, evidently, is the trouble that is referred to in the reading you gave me Friday morning. I wired Martin giving him the information contained in that reading. This demonstrates, without a doubt, that you were giving facts concerning the condition of the well of which you or I knew nothing whatever.

Now they seem to be having trouble as you will note in last message in recovering the bit. I wish that you would find out for me as quickly as possible, the best method to remove this obstacle from the well and if it is going to be successfully done within a reasonable time and how many days until the hole will be clear ready to start drilling again; also advise is there is any chemical means of dissolving and removing the bit that would be more expedient than mechanical methods. I am thinking of putting into the hole about 50 gals. of nitro acid delivered in charges of about 10 gals. very six or eight hours. Would this be effective and how best applied and what percent, if any, of water should be added to furnish the oxygen necessary to bring about the dissolving of the metal?

Please give this information as quickly as possible.
