This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 31st day of December, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [228], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Fla. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to just what he could do regarding his present job problem as explained in the letters which I hold in my hand. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [228]; the problems and the conditions that exist relative to employment as indicated in the letter here.

2. In considering the conditions, there is sincerity in […]‘s attitude; yet conditions that were not of his making have brought about those conditions necessitating the body insuring self - and thus making the problems in the affairs of [228].

3. As we find, we would make the applications to the State Auditing Department. For the body [228] understands the situations, realizing that it is more or less of a political situation; yet the activities of [228] have been such that it has been taken possibly out of that category in his particular instance.

4. Then we would also use individual organizations as a means, or as an assurance for activity AFTER the first.

5. As we find, unless changes arise, there will be conditions arising relative to incomes that would require - with the present associations - activities on the part of [228] for the greater part of February, portions of March even. But there had better be assurance of something like at least a year or few years of permanency, rather than the continual change.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Should I go directly to Wainwright and give him the facts, or indirectly through Shelton? (A) Go direct; this is preferable ever - and give him the facts.

8. (Q) Any particular individuals in the meantime whom I should contact? (A) As indicated, through any individual; that is, any organization, company or corporation where assurance may be had of sufficient amount of income for a longer period is preferable to that that may be changed.

The Chevrolet is worth considering.

While we find there are other conditions in many portions of the state where considerations might be given, we would - though - go direct to the Auditing Department.
