This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of May, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [270].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce and Mr. Linden Shroyer.]

Time of Reading Room …, 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Chicago, Ill. (Questions regarding business associations and relations)

  1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [270]. This we have had before. Ready for questions.

  2. (Q) Would the purchase of Butte Copper and Zinc be a profitable investment? (A) No.

  3. (Q) Should they amalgamate with one of these larger companies? (A) Don’t find it so. With the amalgamation with other companies, Butte would be very good buy but we don’t find amalgamations in a form as would make it over valuable at present.

  4. (Q) You will review the present conditions, and that which has been given [270] regarding change in working environments, location, and finance, giving information to guide the body respecting these changes and his actions in the future, and also state if the individuals responsible for the creation of these present working conditions in Chicago now appreciate the following of their plans, and what, if anything, can [270] do in addition to that already given that will restore the amiable working organization that formerly prevailed, this to be done for the reason that he still has confidence in his ability to do the job right. (A) This is much as conditions that have been given as respecting the changes, environments, and the like. There is little that has not been fully covered in the actions and activities of the body as to how the body was and is to conduct self as respecting these, THAT the body will find will bring about the more amiable understanding. If the body would have understanding, then make self understanding to others. If the body would have amiableness, then make self amiable to the conditions and the circumstances surrounding same, and this may EVER be done without jeopardizing IDEALS in ANY way or manner, and one that will do such will always find self in the better part in any such associations or conditions.

  5. (Q) Is this wasteful waiting attitude conducive of the best result? (A) The best result. Be not overanxious as concerning this waiting. Rather keep self in the proper attitude and in the proper position to be able to meet those conditions as they arise concerning changes of EVERY nature.

  6. We are through.
