1. EC: Increase circulation, through the hepatic circulation. Use the liver activities as in the Bile Salts and Enos Salts as to STIMULATE same. [EC paused here while GC gave him the suggestion about the circulation, then said “Very good.” She continued with the waking suggestion.] Very good.

Friday morning, May 28, 1937, after having been worried about finances for quite a while: “Jesus and I, with the Duke of Windsor and his wife, were at a large gathering - seemed in Paris. We came to a place where drinks were being served out on the sidewalk, under a canopy. I said, “Let’s have a drink.” We four sat down and all ordered champagne. I wondered why I had done that, for I realized I only had three cents in my pocket. When we got up, the Duke and his wife walked away, Jesus and I were standing there - I searched my pockets and brought out the three cents. Jesus threw his head back and laughed aloud, clapped his hands together, and said: “Will I have to send YOU after a fish too?” The Duke and I were dressed in short white jackets, while Jesus and the Duchess had on long white capes. We all called him (the Duke) Davie, and her Bess; while they all called me Eddie - but none of us called Jesus by name - we only addressed him direct, never spoke of him.
