This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 6th day of July, 1925, in accordance with request made by Mr. Riley Hurst.

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 2:35 P. M. Dayton Savings Time. Winslow, Arkansas.

  1. GC: You will have before you lands in Washington County, Arkansas, near Boston Mountains, and the treasure buried there, information regarding same that you gave in a reading on April 27, 1925, and a stake on these lands, placed there by Riley Hurst, to whom you said this information should be given. Please locate this treasure in reference to the stake as placed by Riley Hurst, in a definite and concise manner, giving in literal words the message that should be sent to Hurst at this time.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the treasure here as placed there some seventy odd years ago, with information as given on April 27th regarding same. Now, we find the stake as placed is near the spring that has cropped out or begun since placing of treasure, and that the opening or spring which now shows is only a decavity or a low place, with rock (cope [cone?] shape) above same. The stake as driven as thirty and one-tenth (30 1/10) yards to the South and East of the treasure. This we see, then, thirty and one-tenth (30 1/10) yards from stake North and West would come to treasure. This near where a log lies across a rock. Now below this rock we find a small dogwood tree, with a vine growing on same. This vine, however, not a clinging vine, rather bramble briar like; between this rock and the dogwood, we would find the treasure. Two hundred thousand dollars bullion, with other precious stones.

  3. This wire then:

  4. North and West from stake to side of hill where dogwood below projecting rock. Between rock and dogwood lies treasure. Dig there. Full information in mail at this address.
