This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 9th day of July, 1925, in accordance with request made by Riley Hurst.

Time of Reading 10:10 A. M. Dayton Savings Time. Winslow, Arkansas.

1. GC: You will have before you lands in Washington County, Arkansas, near Boston Mountain, and the treasure buried there, information regarding same that you gave in a reading on April 27, 1925, and the second stake on these lands, placed there by Riley Hurst, to whom you said this information should be given. Please locate this treasure in reference to the stake as placed by Riley Hurst, in a definite and concise manner, giving in literal words the message that should be sent to Hurst at this time.

2. EC: Yes, we have the information and the treasure here. In reference to this second stake, we find the location of same is just the length of the height of Riley Hurst from stake, South by East from stake, North by West from treasure to stake. Then this wire:

4. (Q) Is the location nearer the South point than the East point, or about half way? (A) Just as given. South by East, length of body of Riley Hurst. We find there are marks on the ledge above where this is located, pointing in opposite direction from same. Then taking stake in the earth, the direction as pointed would be opposite from that as is indicated on the rock. South by East, see? Five feet, nine and a quarter (5 ft. 9 1/4”) inches.

5. (Q) Any other information for Riley Hurst at this time? (A) This is what was asked for. This is given.

R1. 7/9/25 EC’s letter to Riley Hurst:

Dear Riley:-

Your wire received this morning and this was taken at once, and the wire sent you as follows:

“Length of self from stake South by East location. See letter.”

I certainly hope that you have no trouble in making the location and I feel sure you will make it without any trouble. It may be a little earth over the first rock, then you will find the rock over the treasure itself buried between a triangle rock.
