Now, we have these conditions as regarding this treasure. Make these locations specific from these lines. We find this treasure was buried by Indian who came from camp that was to the East of this location. There are, as we see, many springs (now four in number). At the time five in number, when burial was made. A line drawn from camp to the two markers as the directions show in the maps that were left, the one to the East, the one to the West. These, as we see, where this should be is toward the West from the camp site. The Springs to the South and the Spring to the South and East, the Springs to the South and East now running. The location then was made from that one now existent. The one now not showing, with the coping shape rock above same, where the location of the present buried treasure. This may be found. Seek and ye shall find, for this is given as the benefit to those to whom this is payable.
-
(Q) Did they make the location just opposite from the stake as was given in last reading? (A) Just given. Send then this wire:
Location made opposite direction as given from stake. Sign.

R1. 7/10/25 EC’s ltr. to Hurst:
Dear Riley:-
Certainly sorry to know that you had all your trouble there for nothing. I do not understand about this. I’m in hopes, however, that the wire as sent you this morning and this letter will help you get straightened out. I believe, before I’d give it up, I’d sit down and write me the whole situation there and let’s see if we can get anything else by a list of questions on same, other than trying to read it from the stake. It may be getting two or three different stakes mixed up that have been driven around, though I know you would have to use your own discretion that will be in keeping with circumstances surrounding same. I certainly wish you success though in this.
With kindest personal regards,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
