Dear Mr. Wyrick:-
Just a little note to enclose you the information as was gotten this morning. Seems we’ve been having some more trouble. I hope though it’s no worse than it indicates here and that very suddenly we’re going to break through into the production. I certainly appreciate your letting me have the reports as you have, and I hope you’ll let me hear from you whenever it is possible.
With kindest personal regards from all,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

R6. 12/19/25 Psychic reading given by Rose Vail for G. W. Loveall:
THE MEDIUM - MRS. ROSE VAIL - PASTOR OF SPIRITUALIST CHURCH - 3743 JANSSEN AVENUE - CHICAGO ILL.
READING FOR GEORGE W. LOVEALL TIME - 2 P.M.
Question: Sometime ago I made an investment.
Answer: Yes, in oil - in Texas.
Question: Tell me something of general conditions, present depth and whether or not the project will be successful.
Answer: Things seem to be at a standstill caused by an obstruction. This obstruction has been in effect for several days, but will be overcome and removed within a few days more. The project will be successful.
Question: What is the nature of the obstruction and at what point in the hole does it occur?
Answer: It is caused by an iron tool. I see a series of spirals or loops lying on top of it. Take me down Chief. It’s getting hot! I am burning up. - 500 feet down - Many times 500 feet to point where obstruction occurs. The removal of this is a tedious, hazardous job, but it will be removed.
Question: If successful, what will the production be?
Answer: 15000.
Question: Are you sure?
Answer: 15000.
Question How soon will it be successful.
Answer: This is one, or I will say, [of] the biggest, no - I will say the biggest thing in an investment way that has ever come to me. It will be a small beginning. I do not mean that the well will be small, I mean that the 15000 first production is small to the ultimate production of the project. I repeat, this is one of the biggest things that has ever been brought to me and it will be successful. When the trees begin to bud in Texas as they do in Chicago in the Spring of the year, you will feel free and happy and your financial troubles and worries will be over.
I do not mean that you will have to wait that long for production (that will be within three weeks) but that you will have received some benefits from the investment.
(Pause) Have I told you anything, Mr. Loveall, out of proportion? I am asking you this because I do not know a thing about oil wells.
Let us try again! No questions.
Who is this man - W - i - no, W - y -
(Answered too quickly by Loveall) - Wyrick.
He is all right. He knows what he is doing. He knows his business. He is going along doing the best he can with the means at his disposal. (Pause) The messages you are receiving on this proposition from a similar source are good. Tell me Chief, be sure, are they right? They are.
The vibrations around you and this project are tremendous and it will be successful - more successful than any one connected with it has even hoped up to the present time. Success beyond their highest expectations.
R7. 12/19/25 Mr. Wyrick’s letter: “We have not yet got the baler - sand pump - out of the well. Pat is very hopeful.”
R8. 12/19/25 See 254-27 indicating that help will come to EC work from oil fields, etc.
R9. 12/21/25 EC’s letter to Mr. Wyrick:
115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va.
My dear Mr. Wyrick:-
It was not my purpose to delay the reading on the well, when I wired you the other day, but rather that we might have more definite questions as regarding same, for I felt like the information in the reading we had, having already given it as would happen, with your new report, might give you a better idea as to how to question same. I wired you again this afternoon - have been waiting on reply of wire of the 17th would like to help if I can - let me hear and hope we can be of help.
As you will see, we have been taking some readings as regarding our work, through the dreams [294-53]. I am in hopes that this is not a worry to you, but rather something that will be of real interest, for, seemingly, there was some reference made to the very conditions as were gotten in that reading on well, and, as I said in my wire, from this present reading here, and from the reading on the well, somehow it just made me feel sure it would work out - though it seems like every sort of a trouble is all flying about us all at this present time, but we are hoping for brighter days yet. I’d like to know just what you think about this, when you have the time to write.
With kindest personal regards from everyone here, and wishing you the compliments of the Season.
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

R11. GD’s note: In his letter of 12/19/25 asking for a physical reading Mr. Wyrick said he didn’t understand EC’s wire of 12/17/25 in relation to reading 4905-49 since it said “What is best to act on?” Evidently the message misread “act” instead of “ask”.

TELEGRAM OIL COMPANY - Morgan Texas
Dear Mr. Wyrick:-
The weather is bad here today - but little rain, some sleet, it’s about down to 22 above 0 this a.m.
It is hard to explain in a telegram about a fishing job. Pat got the tools down about six or eight feet past top of pump as is shown by iron marks on bit and stem. We were unable to get a socket to go over the top of plunger, Morgan went out to Gorman to get a mouse trap socket and fishing jars, but failed to get them this a.m. The shop has been moved to Pioneer. Pat took a socket to Clifton to be turned down so we may get it over top of plunger. I think it is over against the wall of hole, and may have to be straightened up before we can get anything over it. You see it went back from top full or partly full so the plunger can’t go back in it. After getting cleansed of the cavings out it does not seem to be caving much. Pat feels sure it won’t take long to get this out after he gets ready. I am of the opinion it will take quite a while to get it out.
We’re afraid to run into the hole any more after locating the pump until we were ready with fishing tools ready.
On last Friday night Leach and White were positive they had picked up a better showing than they had ever had in the well, so now they are wild about it for they were getting blue, but Pat and Morgan were still of good faith. They are all of the opinion that a few more feet will make a big well.
The notary has been away on court so I have had to wait for him on these assignments, everything else fine shape. We are looking for you Xmas.
Sincerely, G. C. Martin
