This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of February, 1931, in accordance with request made by self, through Mr. [417].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Conditions in many respects are on the improve. Some are most satisfactory; others are apparently aggravated in some directions, but we would keep those administrations that have been given for these corrections, and - as the body sees self in its administrations, and in the seeking for aid - THAT will come; for much of the psychopathic nature, as has been suggested, entered in with these conditions. While the manipulations may be given at less frequent intervals - once a week, at least every third week it would be well to have them twice a week. These, as we find, with the general changes that come, will be helpful. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) Are all treatments being given correctly? (A) Treatments, some to the body have become too much rote - but they are being GIVEN well. See self receiving the benefits from same, more systematically, more consistently!

3. (Q) Is my diet correct, or can you suggest a change? (A) This may be changed to meet the needs, so far as elimintions are concerned. This the greater change. Don’t break over QUITE so often, and then ask for diet!

4. (Q) What causes the constant whistling noises in left ear? (A) That incoordination, and it would be well were - especially THIS side of the Eustachian tube - aroused to its nearer normal reflex in circulation. Now it’s the circulation adhered to, or spoken of, rather than TOO much of the Eustachian tube ITSELF massaged. The nerves and muscles in their ends, the nerves along their course in THIS area. Deep under the throat, just above the thyroids. Deep under the jaw, just below those of the 2nd and 3rd branches of the 5th nerve.

5. (Q) When bending head and right leg backwards, wind like noises rush to right ear. What can be done to correct this? (A) This has just been given!

6. (Q) What causes the dark spots I see before each eye occasionally, and what can be done to correct this? (A) The stronger manipulative forces when given in the region of the sensory centers as from ear and eye. The circular motion of the head will have MORE to do with this than even the manipulative forces, when CONSISTENTLY and PERSISTENTLY done. Don’t do it just because - well, “Now this is what it said to do.” Do it because this is what it is creating in the system - see?

7. (Q) Should I wear my glasses constantly? (A) Wear when close work, or reading.

8. (Q) Should lamp treatments be continued? If so, how often? (A) At least once each week.

9. (Q) How often should irrigations? (A) When most needed; otherwise, at least once each month.

10. (Q) Why is it when I swallow saliva that I get a cracky sound in my left ear? (A) The conditions that exist in the Eustachian tube, as has been indicated, and in the following out of those suggestions along the upper portion of the thyroid region, and under the jaw itself - so that the saliva ducts, as well as those of the lower portion to the soft tissue in face - We are not ELIMINATING properly from the head, as has been indicated from the first!

Dear Mrs. [5610]:-

Through our main office I know of your interest in the phenomena that is manifested through my brother, Edgar Cayce.

As you no doubt know, we had a hospital where individuals might have their treatments carried out according to the suggestions made in the readings. This hospital was closed the first day of March. However, I am now in charge of a small place here - we have a registered trained nurse at all times, and we have the cooperation of both medical and osteopathic physicians in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. If your information has suggested that these surroundings would be helpful, we would be glad for you to consider coming to us at this time. Of course, our place is very small - but we try to run it on a basis so it will do the most good for those seeking to gain aid and benefits through these channels.

I am sure that Mr. Levy will be glad to tell you what he knows of my association with this work.
