This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of July, 1928, in accordance with request made by Mr. [943].

1. GC: You will have before you the well that has been drilled on Section 19, Township 54, Range 35, Dade County, Florida. You will please advise as to the conditions here at the present time, giving conditions necessary to make this a successful and producing well.

2. EC: Yes, we have the operations here. These we have had before. Now we find these operations have reached that which has been given as the indication of conditions existent in this field. Also those existent conditions of which ones operating should be warned and careful of, in that these conditions are not allowed to destroy - in part or in toto - the productiveness of the field, by inroads of salt water. That condition for the packing, or casing off of same, will be correct - but must be done properly. In and near the depth as given will be found the large production as has been given for these fields. While, as given, this is not exactly in the location as has been made in the stratum and depth given the same pool would be encountered - see? while the exact, or change as was given, would be nearer the center or crescent portion of pool. There needs be only the care taken, and the depth drilled to that as encountered in the present is the seepage from those depths as were given would be the depth for production in other locations. Keep the way, then, as has been given before the operations, would these be made successful.

R1. 7/13/28 Mr. [943]‘s letter:

The Tamiami well was drilled to a depth of 3105 feet at which depth there was a strong oil and gas showing. At 3040 feet they had a water sand which they have been trying to shut off in order to make a proper test of this oil sand. The indications are exceptionally good and we feel that we have a well if this water flow can be controlled. A packer was set last Monday morning to shut off the water at 3040 feet but after bailing for a short time the water broke through and they have been unable to do anything since. They have ordered a special tool that will enable them to pull the packer in order to reset it and make another test. This will require from a week to ten days.

Made another trip to Tallahassee with reference to the lease on State lands in Dade and Monroe counties and was more successful insofar as we agreed on the number of acres which they would consider giving me a lease on. They asked me to re-write the lease and incorporate therein the exact description which we had agreed on and, - the board accepted the lease and referred it to the attorney general for his legal opinion. I expect to return to Tallahassee the first of the week to obtain a final hearing as to whether I shall obtain this lease or not.

You must feel very good that you are now seeing your building go up and realizing one of your great dreams. I feel that this is one of the really big propositions that will be fully materialized within the span of a very few years. The building of an invisible empire in the minds of men have been underway for many centuries regarding the thoughts and actions of the human race with reference to the plans and ideals of the program as outlined in the World Organization proposition [See [3976] early series]. I am fully confident that we will live to realize the completeness of our plans. The unseen Forces which control the destiny of life itself will create somehow within our circle of existence at the present time that condition which will help us to do that which is necessary to be done in order to accomplish the decree of Fate!

Will advise you from time to time as to the progress we are making on the Tamiami well and will wire you from Tallahassee if I am successful in obtaining this big lease.
