This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 30th day of October, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [951], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.)]

At home on …, Time of Reading just off Route 78, 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Georgia.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions as I ask them:

  2. EC: It’s four miles - four and one quarter.

  3. Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

  4. As we find, conditions are progressing very satisfactorily.

  5. It would be well if the body would have occasionally a gentle massage, when ready to retire of evenings.

  6. The period should be complete, as we find, near to the end of December or the first of January - but appears nearer the sixteenth of December.

  7. The delivery should be normal, as we find, but there will be trouble with the kidneys unless proper precautions are taken to keep the activities well. Hence very small quantities of watermelon seed tea would be well, soon after the birth of the babe.

  8. Keep sufficient exercise. Keep the mental attitude as constructive as possible. Keep the surroundings as pleasant as possible.

  9. Do have the massage, as it will rest the body much. This would be given especially over the areas of the sacral and the ninth dorsal upward. Best that this be done by a neuropath.

  10. Do that.

  11. Ready for questions.

  12. (Q) How may pressure on bladder be alleviated? (A) Haven’t we just been trying to tell you how that the gentle massage is to relieve these tensions? Because of conditions that will be left by the activities of the kidneys, these should be purified by very small doses of watermelon seed tea after the birth. Grind, crack or crush a teaspoonful of watermelon seed and pour a pint of boiling water over same, - only using an enamel or crock container, covered. Let this stand for twenty minutes, strain, and then put in the refrigerator. Take this amount during two days. Then don’t take any more for at least three to four days afterwards. Then repeat this.

  13. (Q) What changes in diet should I make? (A) It is very good in the present. Just don’t eat any fats, or sweets.

  14. (Q) How can I take a sufficient amount of calcium and still keep it in solution? (Milk comes up when I drink it.) (A) Calcios is the better manner to take calcium. It is more easily assimilated, and will act better with pregnancy than any type of calcium products as yet presented. About three times each week, at the noon meal, eat a whole wheat cracker spread thinly with the Calcios. Keep this up until about the tenth of December.

  15. (Q) Where, and by whom should the baby be delivered? (A) Better that it be by a specialist from the osteopathic profession.

  16. (Q) Are there any complications? (A) Not in the present. If the proper precautions are taken, there should not be. Only the warnings respecting the kidneys and the care of the body just after the birth.

Do these and keep the proper attitude; and we will find that conditions will be more satisfactory.

  1. We are through for the present.
